remove your name from national marketing lists. One way to get off the lists is to register with the Direct Marketing Association, an action that could stop 75% of the national mailings you're receiving. Their web-address is www.dmachoice.org/MPS , and while there is a $ 1 feeto have your "no junk mail" preference listed, you'll be protected for 5 years. You can also do it in writing by sending a note to Mail Preference Service, Direct Mrketing Assocoation, P.O Box 643, Carmel, NY 10512

you can also remone your name from pre-screened credit card and insurance mailings by going online at www.optoutprescreen.com or by calling (88 567-8688 from your home phone.

* when you make a donation, order a product or service, or fill out a warranty card, write "Please do not sell my name or address" on the forms
* stop your credit card companies from selling your name and informail by calling them directly and requesting that they not do so
* if you receive junk mail that is first class, cross out the address and bar code, circle the first-class postage and write "refused: return to sender"
Drop it in any mail box and it will be returned to the sender
* if your received bulk mail and it includes an "address correction requested reference" on the label, circle that notation and return it the same way as first-class mail
*to stop receiving Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes mailings, call (800) 645-0242, send a fax to (800) 453-0272 or send e-mail to pch@ant.net

*to stop American Family Sweepstakes mailings. call (800) 237-2400
* to stop receiving Val-Pak coupon mailings, go online at www.coxtarget.com?mailsuppressionForm. Do not provide your e-mail address.
