Lena and I wanted to offer an inexpensive and easy way for Russian women and Western men to meet, so we created these Russian-Western Photo Personals.

We also believe that when you are looking for a partner who you will be spending the rest of your life with, that it is better and more reliable to deal with a real Russian-Western couple who have gone through the same relationship and marriage process that you are going through, rather than dealing with a Marriage Agency without a face where you do not know who the owners are and how scrupulous their business practices might be. There are many Russian Marriage agencies on the internet (some scrupulous, and some who are not honest and take advantage of both Russian Women and Western men).

Lena and I run and maintain the Russian Meeting Place and the Russian Photo Personals ourselves, and we welcome you to get to know us better by emailing us with any questions, thoughts or comments that you might have, or by reading what we have written in our website and discussion forums. Why Use the Russian Meeting Place Personals?

 What are the advantages of using our Russian Meeting Place Personals over other Russian Agencies or Personals?:

1) Our personals are NOT expensive, like most other Russian Personals and Marriage Agencies. Our personals are affordable, and are of high quality. We think that many other Russian “Marriage” agencies charge a very high price, even an outrageous and unreasonable price. But we wanted to offer a personals service that is reasonably priced and that is a benefit to everyone involved. Many Russian marriage agencies “sell” one contact address (so you can contact ONE member in their profiles) for $10.00 and more. We do not “sell” individual addresses of women or men in our personals. Our standard membership is $9.25 per month for contacting an unlimited number of members, with no added costs or fees whatsoever.

2) It is absolutely free to browse our personals and to read individual member profiles. You don’t need to pay money to browse our personals and see whether one of our members might be your future partner. It is only when you find someone you would like to communicate with that you will need to purchase a membership (for $9.25 per month or less) to be able to contact them. It is absolutely free to browse our photo personals and read individual personals.

3) We are a real Russian-Western married couple who run and operate these personals and the Russian Meeting Place website. Feel free to visit us in Los Angeles if ever visit California  :)  When you use the Russian Meeting Place Personals, you know that you are dealing with a real Russian-Western couple who you can develop a working, direct relationship with. It is easier to trust someone you know, someone you can communicate with, ask questions to and receive answers from. Feel free to email us with your thoughts and questions-- We are responsive to your questions and to your needs. If at any time you have any questions or comments, you may write us an email and we will respond personally to your questions or concerns. We answer all of our emails ourselves, and you are free to ask us any question that you would like.

4) We have verified every email address in our women’s profiles. We know that these email addresses are valid, and that you can feel comfortable that the Russian women on our website are real. If you email a woman, and for some reason her email address has changed or expired or no longer active, our software will automatically inform us about this. Also, please let us know if you have any problems or questions in contacting anyone.

5) We have a variety of attractive, interesting and available women in our personals. There are many members in our Personals for you to consider contacting, all of whose email contact information we have verified, In most cases, Lena has personally emailed each Russian woman and has usually had some communication with her. Even though we have very affordable membership prices, Lena works hard to find and include a variety of attractive and interesting women.

6) Our personals profiles contain detailed information on each member, so you really get to know more about the person. In many Russian Marriage agencies, many of their profiles contain limited, abbreviated information about the person being profiled so that you really do not have a sense of who the person is. We take more time with our profiles and include detailed information on each person so that you can receive a better sense of each of our members.

7) We offer an even lower price when you subscribe to our personals for 2 or 3 months. We offer prices that are even lower than our standard $9.25 per month unlimited membership. Our 3 Month “Special Membership Package,” which is $24.95, includes: a 3 month Personals membership with unlimited contacts, and  one free page translated from English to Russian (for example, a personal profile or a letter).

8) We have physical mailing addresses for each profiled woman member (and with a paid membership, you can request to be sent a woman’s mailing address and phone number). If you are seriously interested in a Russian woman in our personals, just email us and we will send you her mailing address (and phone number if she sent one to us). Paid members can request one or two women’s addresses and phone numbers per month. We will also try to accommodate additional contact information requests by any paid member based upon the time that we have available.

9) Several profiles are added to our personals almost every day: We receive dozens of new women’s profiles every week, and we are trying our best to put as many of these in our Personals.

10) You can post your profile for free: It is absolutely free for anyone to post your own profile in these Personals so that others can browse your profile and contact you if they wish.

11) We do not allow anyone in our personals to act unscrupulously. Some Russian “Marriage” Agencies are notorious for not being scrupulous, and even advertising women who do not exist. If there is a member in our Personals who you feel is not being honest or scrupulous, then please send us evidence (like email correspondence that shows the dishonest behavior) and we will remove their profile from our personals. We only want to deal with honest people and people of good character. Remember, as mentioned in Khashyar’s “Tips for Communicating with a Russian Women…” (that can be found in the “About Russian Women” section of this website, never send a woman money unless you feel that you know her well AND you are very seriously involved with her, and be very cautious about a woman who asks you for money. 12) We do NOT screen or read anyone’s email messages. Your communication with another member is private and we respect everyone’s privacy. It is not common knowledge, but many (even reputable and well-known) marriage agencies read and screen the emails that their Russian women members receive. We do not read anyone’s email messages. Your correspondence with another member is between you and that member. A small number of our women members are sponsored by Russian-based marriage agencies, and because that particular Russian woman does not have an email account or cannot access one, someone at that agency may forward your email message to the woman. Some agencies also may need to translate your message into Russian for a particular lady to read. IF you encounter any problems with your correspondence with a member and believe that you are being treated unfairly in one of those uncommon occurrences when you are communicating with a woman through her sponsored Russian Marriage Agency, then please email us and let us know so we can address the situation.

13) You can ask Lena questions in a special Russian woman Q&A section: Lena wanted to offer an opportunity for Western men to ask questions to a Russian woman who can provide insight into the mind and soul of Russian women. Lena worked for 2 ½ years with a marriage agency in her hometown in Belarus, and during that time, she spoke with many Russian women who were interested in and already speaking with Western men. You can take advantage of Lena’s first-hand experience with Russian women in our “Ask Lena” section of the Russian Meeting Place website (you can find it in the “About Russian Women” section of the website). 14) We also have a Russian Discussion Forum where you can speak with both men and women about Russian-Western relationship issues. Our discussion forum is frequented by both men and women, both in Russian-Western relationships and marriages, as well as single. You can read messages posted in forums of different subjects, as well as receive advice and feedback about relationships with Russian women.

15) Our Personals software is professional and easy to use. It is similar to that used by other large, leading dating services. In our Personals, you can browse by photo and do an advanced search based on more detailed criteria. Lena translates almost every request for Russian-English translation. Lena’s university’s major was English and computers, and she worked as an English translator of letters as well as an English teacher while living in Belarus. If you need a letter or your profile translated into Russian, we can do a high quality translation for $6.00 per page and less for 10 or more pages. Many other Russian translation services charge $8 and even $30 or more per page.
