First I want to congratulate Smoke on his trip to Ekaterinburg
Yeah the plane ride is a killer, I think next trip I may try first class on Chicago to London leg, the other legs I can hack coach.

Since Tatiana left (after 2 week visit here in Calif. in Feb), we have been in regular communication. (she returned to Ekaterinburg with diamond ring)
Todays she asked if have I started references on visa...... my heart froze for a second.... looks like she has pretty much made her decision to "question" I asked her during our time together here.

Now I got to get cracking on the fiance visa.
This is no kids game ..... its the real deal,
If you wana play Lumberjack.... you gotta handle your end of the log.

I'm planning to visit Ekaterinburg in May or June of 2007

Will keep forum posted on progress
So Cal Rick

Now this info contained in this forum will become gold for me.
will keep forum posted.

Rick,
I needed to go back and read your earlier threads to put this in perspective.

Congratulations, first and foremost!

My Tatiana also came on a K1 in November and was here for two wonderful months and went home to continue thinking about the engagement. (We've been engaged for a long time. Likes your, my sweetheart has a lot of obligations over there she takes very seriously and it isn't easy to decide to move.) I agree about the difficulty seeing her leave. It was really hard, really sad. And also definitely for the best.

When we get married (similar time frame for us, too, May or June next year) we'll both have had good time to consider soberly and make the best decision.

The separation can be tough, and it also can be very sweet and dear, too. Try to enjoy it, enjoy the anticipation, and the opportunity to plan carefully. At least, this is part of what I'm trying to do.

Yes, we have a lot in common, I just read your post and realized it has been aover a complete month and I have done nothing with visa forms.

Thats it this weekend..that means tonight I shall get cracking.

Tatiana is scheduled to return from sanatoriun by next weekend, I will have positive news for her

Take care, So Cal Rick
