Organizing your Petition

I was wondering how do you organize your petition before sending it. Do you hole punch (2-hole on top), do you use any type of bookmarks, or just take a big clip and clip it together.

I hear different things. A lawyer said that they just clip the whole package. One big site said that you have to hole punch. Another people are saying it doesn't matter, because BCIS Mail Room takes care of everything.

Please reply as soon as possible, because I am almost ready to send mine.

Thanks.

I just used a big paper clip and sent it in and got approved yesterday after 129 days at TSC. I have seen all sort of posts about cover letters, check sheets, etc but I did none of that. Just be sure you have everything they askfor. I only sent three photos of the two of us together in Kiev, airplane ticket for my trip, letter of intent, my divorce papers, and application forms, so you do not need reams of material.

They say the 2 hole punch is appreciated but not required. I organized ours into sections like this:

CHECK $$
Official forms (and ADIT pics)
copies of Birth certs/ divorce certs
----------------------
Evidence of 1st meeting (w/ 2 pics together)
----------------------
Evidence of second meeting (w/ 2 pics together)
----------------------
Evidence of ongoing relationship

I divided them off with plain white 80# card stock paper

One other thing I did was to go into wordpad and make a "stamp":
I-129f original submission TSC James Xxxxxx petitioner / Liliya Xxxxxxx beneficiary
I set the printer to print "landscape" then took all the scanned material I had printed up and run it through the printer again. It's probably overkill but they lose things from time to time and this way, if a page falls out and they find it later, they can match it back up.

Look, it does make a difference. I got really anal about it. I was going through the CSC. Most guys are still waiting after 300+ days; mine was approved in 126. Interview date: October 16.

Want to know what I did? Let me know. If you already sent it ... good luck!
