Can anyone tell me if it is unrealistic to have Sasha send me three colored passport sized photos to Nebraska from Odecca Ukraine.I am pretty sure the postal system stinks in Ukraine but don't you think it's possible.Also, when it comes time how do I purchase our plane ticket for her and make so she can get the ticket.I know I can book the flight and pay for ticket from my home.Does fed Ex or Ups exist in Ukraine? Anyone have any Ideas on how I can get the photos from her to me in a timely manner?Thank you for your help!!

Why not have her just email you the photos? then resize them and print at your end. The plane tickets are easy, I have had them left at the airport for collection before and it all went well, in fact KLM called her to confirm things well before the due flight date.

Just book them at your end and put her details and her contact phone number in the relevant places so they can call her, when you get email confirmations from them , forward everything on to her and get her to print it all off and take to the airport on the day of travel. It has worked like clockwork a number of times for me.

USA Government wants original passport style photo's with color that are one inch long showing turned head with chin to forehead showing. I assume you were talking about Ukraine?Mail is not an option there is it? Can I have my plane ticket waiting at Odecca AIrport? Thanks man.

You can get her to have a picture taken to US spec (head and shoulders or whatever) and still email it to you, you can resize it and print it off, even if it has to be done professionally, I have done it before.

No don't trust the mail in Ukraine, just have them send or leave them for collection at the airport, I have done this a few times, it is no hassle, dead easy.

OR is their an airline office in her home town??? she could go there to collect??

I believe that you will find DHL and FedEx there. Both should be able tob get the thickets there w/o problems. Big Brown is missing there,
The Post Office will be fine for things outbound. Inbound is where there has been reported problems. I haven't had anything disappear sofar for what it's worth.

Mike and Chris, I was really bumming as my woman has no phone and in her words is between poor and middle class. Iwas too into talking with the woman when I was there to think about things I needed to do while I was there to make the K-1 process easier.I sent money for her to get the passport started and things in the first trip to kiev like medicine test and everything else she explained to me.Strange that my woman is so clever yet told me she could handle all our paper work for her visa from her side In Ukraine. Of course I have talked with USCIS a few times and understand the whole process.I will inform her I am aware that outbound mail is not so bad and should work so she will send me the exact passport style photos I need.I appreciate my questions being answered here.Thank you very much.

Sammy, Have you looked over the paperwork at visajourney.com? The have everything needed for examples and such. I used them for our paperwork for the DCF at Kiev.

I had my wife email me her passport photos, then I took them to a photo place on disk and they cut them to passport size... then I mailed them in. All seemed to be ok!

I know what and how to handle this mess now!! It is nice to know that the e-mail plan will be good enough for US Government! These little things are nice to understand and have someone who already did it to ask!! Thank you very much!!
