I am new on this site.
I am finalizing the package for my K-1 Visa. My fiancee just sent me all the paperwork (via DHL), including the ADIT pictures that she took at the professional Photo Shop in St. Petersburg. They said they knew what they were doing, because they always do photos for US Green Cards and Visas.

The photos look fine, it is just that I am comparing it to the Photo Specifications that I got at the Embassy, and the picture looks a little bigger than the one on the spec sheet. Not the dimensions of the photograph, but the head looks a little bigger. It looks like it might still fit the requirements, but it might cut 1-2 mm off her hair.

How picky are they about that?

Yeah I had the same worries, my wifes hair was up in a bun and her face was bigger than the one in the form, they still accepted because it fit the specs. So dont worry too much about it.

No, it's the right type. The one that shows the right ear. Just like they want. It's just that her head was zoomed, and it looks a littler bigger (may be 5-8 mm bigger).
