Everything is going very well! We'll marry on June 1st in a simple ceremony. The ceremony will be on top of the mountain overlooking town if the weather is nice, or down near the old Russian church in town if the weather doesn't cooperate.
The rings are Celtic inspired. I have an Irish background and when we shopped for rings I pulled these up on the Internet and she just loved them.

Kat is such a doll! We're both very happy we've found each other.

Nice rings Kieth, all the best to you both.

BTW I am glad Kat likes the climate there as it does look a wee bit chilly.

Kodiak is in the banana belt of Alaska. It has about the same climate as Northern England - not too bad!

I hate the cold and I do feel it. I am currently trying, very unsuccesfully mind you, to convince my rellies to move to God's own state which we call Queensland. Also we have a different climate here that may or may not be as freezing as yours.

Kieth have I said congrats yet mate.

hehehe when you go over there it's easily obtainable but whatever you don,t drink it & i think you may have trouble getting it through customs & unless you have dangerous goods import licence lol

Thanks, and of course you're all invited... Just come on up to Homer Alaska and then book a flight with Bob (you really DON'T want to fly with his brother Dave...) over to Kodiak Island.
The bears are really not a problem, just bring some pepper spray, and a gun, and a slower running companion... and avoid bacon or salmon scented colognes...

After the wedding come round for blinis, pop tarts, salmon caviar and Alaskan Smoked Porter - I think that's what we're having if Kat is to be believed. The girl loves her pop tarts!
