The Russian Orthodox Church Abroad adopted a resolution on Thursday at a historic synod that would accept the Moscow Patriarch as its head after more than 80 years of bitter separation. The 135 delegates and top church officials at only the fourth All-Diaspora Council since 1920 called for spiritual unity with the Moscow Patriarchate.
