During dinner tonight I looked across the street at the neighbors place. This is what I saw. Tanya was about 20' from her!

I don't know what happened to her but she was missing alot of hide from a bear attack or a run in with a car maybe. But it looks like she was on the mend.

Yeah I noticed the bald spots.. reminded me of..... wel me! hahah Good to hear that you think she is healthy though. How cool is that!

I love it! And I'm glad the "little" guy is doing well

Jill, LOL That little 'guy' is a little girl!
Note the lack of antlers.... She's about a 3 year old baby.

That's some good barbeque right there. And the bald spots make the prep easier.

(just kidding people. I think like a Texan, and down here if it moves, we kill it and grill it)

IF it were out of town and in season I guarentee that critter would be in the freezer real soon.
Or invited to dinner as the guest of honor!
Cheb, I'm not a trophy hunter ... Kill and grill is my thoughts too.

You're quick on the trigger. Had Yak meat, the meat had to be tenderised.

How would the critter taste like?

That would depend on who you ask.Myself I do not care for moose meat,I like beef.
But all of my friends love moose meat and hunt every season.
As for a taste, sorry can't help you there.

That is the common thing people say. We say that about so much indigenous foods as well. Get a snake, what does it taste like? Chicken. Get a witchety grub, what does it taste like? Chicken.

Ak if you ever come downunder have a go at the NT's Water Buff, I can garuantee you it does not taste like Chicken.
