This morning in this news, they reported that an armenian craft went down enroute to Sochi, likely due to weather. And it was NOT a old Tupolev or so. It was an airbus 320.

It will be interesting to follow the story, if something is revealed. Like why re-entering the enroute after turning back from the bad weather.

Airbuses are fly-by-wire. Mobile phones and laptops are threats. All older aircraft are vulnerable to wiring failures in the best maintained environments.
