What was the day like,when you picked your lady up on her arrival.

Rima will arrive to me in Chicago, after she gets her visa.All I can do, is imagine what that day will be like.What were some of members experiences on that day?After not seeing her for some time,It will feel like the first time we meet.The only different,she will be in my country.

I can't help on this one.
I went there and took her to the interview then brought her home. I was afraid that she'd have trouble in the bigger airports since she hadn't flown much before.

hi dagpop
mate for me it was exciteing & stressfull at the same time.
wonderfull to know that we were finally going to be together but scarry wondering if she would hate it here or be so homesick she couldn,t cope.
when we got to the airport, it was to find that her plane was an hour late,all sorts of things pop into your head & then releif to see her plane listed as on the ground.
worrying about her getting through control & whether she had remembered to declare everything especialy when it seemed like forever before she came out into arrivals, i had forgotten how busy sydney airport gets.
lots of things will go through your mind but the smile on her face when she see,s you will light up your life.
i felt on top of the world & can,t discribe the happyness i felt when she rushed into my arms,truely amazeing experiance

My sister and brother-in-law got that problem in fact. MY sister had to go to live in the native country of my bro in law, and the thing is that the latter was soooo stressed out, wondering if my sis will like the country or not...He went in search of all facilities for my sister ( for instance, my sis into fasion shops, beauty, facial etc, cinema halls..movies..), lol..and my bro in law did everything..searched a place where all these things would be available and near..and at the airport, he was moreeee worrried than happy, coz he wanted to no hw was the flight..and well..many more worries...!!! Now itz okay between them, my sis likes the country ( good for them )

I had a big bunch of flowers and called her name out when she walked through the gate (this was a really big deal for her and told all her friends about it)

It was brilliant showing her around my city, meeting my friends, going to visit other counties, I loved every min of her being my guest....... Oh and I proposed on her last night here. ;o)
