Hello
I have most summers, look into whats jobs offer ther eis for foriegenrs in Russia. of course most of them are in Moscow, but the numbers anf types of jobs has changed.

Now there positions like marketing assistens, researcher, legal advisors, consultants especially IT.

It not like there many jobs, but a increase and cgange. Si many in the future more people from western countries will move to Moscow instead of Russians leaving.

Jutman,

I assume someone as experienced as you has checked out the Moscow Times database but for others here is the link. http://www.careercenter.ru/ . They claim it is the largest English language job database for Russia. Any other claims out there?

What about proof reading scripts for Russian publishers and printers, another legendary occupation from Novosibirsk. Does anyone know how to find such jobs?

Randy

Have you tried the official Volgograd City website as a starting point?

http://www.volgadmin.ru/

and specifically the Business section which is in English
http://www.volgadmin.ru/new_eng/staten.asp?id=119

there are a number of enterprises listed there who you may be able to contact for work?

Chris

Hello, Randy!

I guess, you need to try other way. Please, try to find names of local newspapers and put up an advertisement about you there.
May be you know newpaper "Комсомольская правда" ("Komsomolskaya Pravda"). "Komsomolskaya Pravda" most popular russian newspaper many interesting information. This newspaper has local offices at biggest regions of Russia. Every Friday "Комсомольская правда" has additions for other russian regions. I am absolutely sure, this way is best way for your searches. Unfortunately, I dont know about Canada, but I know you can get this newspaper in the USA.

http://www.advert.kp.ru/about/ - in russian
http://www.advert.kp.ru/about/en/ - in english

Good luck!
