P.S. I know it's a long flight to Tashkent, but make sure to drink LOTS of water while on the airplane and wear very comfortable shoes (preferably slip-ons.) The air tends to be very dry in the airplane and your feet WILL swell.

Oh man... sorry, should've warned you about the water! But if you go to the Ferghana Valley, DEFINITELY don't drink the water! There's a flagellated parasite in the water there that will make you sick for 1-2 weeks. (The only cure is to have your body pass this parasite.)
