Well I'm a little more than a month away from moving over there and wanted to get some feedback from those of you that have meet the "Family" and your gals as well.

Gifts? What is your experience with bringing them? Suggestions on what to get? Remember I'm going to be challenged with luggage space as I'm only bringing over what I can fit in my luggage.

Language Barrier? Did anyone hire a translator to speak with their wife's father? Did any of you have "the talk" with the dad? Being that we will be living together he's knows where it is potentially going, do you think the talk will be wasted or appreciated?

I'd sure appreciate any feedback, suggestions, etc you may have. Nerves are starting to get a little frazzled.

Hi ,i just returnrd from Siberia yesterday and met my liuda and her parents.I Got the Father a bottle of Whisky which he loved.The mother i got chocolates.Russian women love sweet things.I got her some flowers on our second meeting ,but do not buy yellow as it is unlucky.My girl i bought some limgerie which went down well....With me.lol.
