yesterday, april the 5th, there was a memorial and parade for celibriting the Russian/Sovjet troops from the Danish island 'Bornholm' located in the Baltic Sea.

There was visit from a Russia veteran (the troops in 1945-46 were 9000), the danish Queen and the Embassador from Russia.

For some local, the WWII did not end before this day. Some locals did'n want to celibrite because they lost family members, during Russian bombing, there hit a school and civil houses.
Russia however faces facilities as well.

A historian wrote: It was a military surprise, that Sovjet invaded Bornholm and it was a political surprise they left.

I am not surprised they left but some folks who are deeply hostile to Russians would make such a comment. I applaud Russia and see in this geture a sign of their grandeur.

OMG I will just say that I am not HOSTILE towards Russians, my best friend was a white Russian, but history indicates they did not leave places easily or indeed voluntarily very often, and in fact they sometime reinvaded to make a point.
