My girl has my homestay invitation ready and I would like to receive it within about 10 days so I can start applying for my visa (in Australia).

(the original invitation is required by the Russian embassy in Australia .. plus she is also sending me some other stuff - pity she can't fit inside )

Just wondering if anyone has had any good experiences shipping small packages from Russia to your particular country?

What company did you use, and can you remember how much it costs?

Thank you!

hi scotch.
should be asking stuff like this in aussie section.
we used tnt from barnaul siberia to sydney, cost around 1000 rubels ($100 aus)only prob was getting package to moscow office from regional office.
it took about 4 days from moscow
if your in sydney consulat is at wollara, opens 9am weekdays.
visa price will depend on how fast you want it lol.
you can get it sameday if your willing to pay,be ready to pay extra fee when you go to pick it up.
cheers bob

Thanks Bob, I've asked my girl to look into the TNT service .. hopefully there is a regional office in her city.

1000 rubles these days is only AUS$50! That would be very cheap indeed!
