I just read about this March 8th Womens Day in Russia and think it will be a good idea to send flowers to my girlfriend and her mum. Does anyone know of any reputable florists with a internet site that delivery to Vladivostok?

Hi,

Flamingo ( www.russianservice.com ) deliver there, and I've always found them reliable when I need deliveries to deepest Siberia, so Vladivostok should be no different.

Interesting.... I've been having trouble with this same firm. (Eleview International, d.b.a. Flamingo Service)

They tell me that an address is invalid (all that I have ever heard from them). However, I have had this particular address, and the person verified by an independent translator who has been there. They have taken my money by billing my credit card, and then don't deliver the flowers, or the photo that i have requested.

I'm smelling a scam here.
Has anyone else ever dealt with this firm?

Me too! I've heard a couple of bad(ish) reports, but never experienced it myself. The last time was about two weeks ago - I didn't place my order until 13:00 in Russia and did it using their live helpdesk as I needed the flowers delivered the same day. Very helpful, even phoned me to double check I was real... took a bit of pressuring, but the flowers finally turned up - at 22:30 in the evening!!!!

Mark,I used a site on the computer called teleflora.They deliver to many countries and cities around the world.I had a good experience with them delivering flowers in Tashkent.They have many arrangements to choose from.
You can do your order on the computer.

mark, my larisa lives in vladivostok and i live in melbourne. i've used INTERFLORA several times, i know they have a website, but i've never used it.
iv'e always done it through my local florist, who's a INTERFLORA agent...........a decent bouquet of rose's cost's me about $100 AU.
