I don't know if this belongs here, feel free to move it if necessary.

Heres a scan of the Ukrainian customs form, these are available at Kiev airport, in a holder on the wall.

Thought they might be usefull, so you know what your looking for.
Might not be very clear due to upload size.

Good information John for all who are headed to UA for the first time.

I arrived in Kiev the first time through Vienna on Austrian Airlines, and the second time via Frankfort on Lufthansa. Both times I was given the customs form approximately 30 min before landing in Kiev.

I took advantage and had everything completed before landing however, both trips I witnessed people who had flown in on the same flight with me (and received the same form on the plane) stand in line for 10 to 20 minutes only to get to the window without a customs form…or a clue???

Hiya Meico,
I didn't get one on the plane, all I got was the immigration form, and I think you only need to fill this in if you have goods to declare.

WHen you get off the plane. Have a pen in your hand and ready (no , they are not happy to supply one). Filled out completely- THAT'S BOTH SIDES FOLKS !!!, double check then proceed...

Stand in line and smile, watch your mouth, and hope for the best.

I seen several people with fillied out papers, whom had to return to the end of the line (must be a power game). Then I guess when they (CUSTOMS) are happy with you, you can proceed.

Remember to smile..and listen to what MEICO already stated. key word ALREADY !!!! plus who wants to wait in line after 100 people who were smarter to have it filled out.. ALREADY- very key point.

Also, don't declare anything you don't have to. It isn't a gift if you haven't given it to them yet!!
They will tax you to death on anything you put on the form.
Keep an eye out for the brunette who looks over your form. She will make you pay the tax but she is a sweetheart. Very patient. don't ask how I know that.....

That happened to me. There are lots of peope who look at you with that "American Dumbass" look in their eyes as you walk back to the end of the line. And we all know how fast those lines move.....
