Lucklovers is not peddling Russian brides. It is purely an introductions site where you can browse/search profiles and find women to contact. After that everything is up to you. Some people (like me) prefer this way of finding a new wife even if it does make for a lot of work in making my own travel arrangements. I found my fiancee on this site. Of course, I am smart enough to skip over the profiles with the sexy poses. You always have to ask yourself, "What does this photo show me about the woman's character, inner thoughts, etc.".

In my case, I picked a girl who looked like she was having a bad hair day because her profile data sounded interesting. After a few letters and a half dozen phone calls, she sent me some more photos from the same photo shoot as that "bad hair day" shot. Her girlfriend had convinced her to strip naked and wrap herself with a shawl. Even though the photos did not show any intimate bits, her face looked ten times better than in that first photo.

In general, my advice is to beware making first impressions of any sort. Pick a few women who have at least one interesting point for you, then write to them and/or phone them to get them to reveal more of their character to you. Often, the girls who photograph well, have character flaws that you probably do not want.
