Still haven't managed to figure out how to include photos with a 'thread'. Can someone tell me how?

Many thanks

Ian.

Sure. When you go to "post reply" look down towards the bottom of the page where it says "additional options.". There you will find "manage attachments." A window will pop up which will allow you to upload photos. There is a size limit, however, so if your pictures are large, you will need to resize them first.

Thank you I was wondering that myself.

Thanks alot Jill.

You can guess the next question. How do you resize a photo?

Ian .

Well, it will depend on the operating system and the kind of file you're using, I think. Just open the photo from whereever you have it saved. At the top where you have a list of options, there should be one named something to the effect of Image or Picture (mine is in Russian and says рисунок). Use the drop down menu to find "resize" (in my Russian version it says изменить размер). Generally a screen will pop up where you can enter in new dimensions. You might have to play around with it a few times to get the optimal posting size.

If you are using WinXP, the easiest method is to use Microsoft's ImageResizer.

If you have a graphics editor like Photoshop, Printshop, etc. it will permit you to resize.

I used the image resizer also, you have to resize them down to under 56kb I think is the size. It works well but sometimes does reduce your photo size to something like a postage stamp, but it depends on what size photo file you start off with.

If you need a photo program.. one that keeps track etc... and can do minor touch ups etc.. go to Google and download Picassa...

It is a great program for FREE...
