Hello to all,
I stumbled across this site this morning and find it very interesting. I have been dating a Russian woman that lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago for about three months. We have decided now to just be friends.

I am now looking to meet other Russian women living in Chicago and can't seem to find a local site for this.

I hope this does not sound inappropriate, but, are there any Russian ladies out there that live in Chicago that would like to meet a great guy? I am looking for a woman in their mid 30's for dating - that could work into a long term relationship.

Hello John, and welcome to the site. I live in Chicago, but I'm already taken.

. There is no specific site that deals with russian singles from Chicago, as far as I know, but many post their ads on match and other general sites, expecially if they are looking outside the immediate russian community. Maybe your ex-girfriend can introduce you to somebody?

Thanks, but all of the friends Marina knows are married. I have been on Match but could not find local Russian females. You mentioned a local site, can you name a few? Also, since you are in the russian community, can you recommend some women? I am an honest and straight forward person, well educated (MBA from Northwestern) make good money and am a very good person. The woman I would date would be taken care of like a Queen.

John, I do not know any specific sites that deal with russian women from Chicago. I'm also not in a russian community. I know a couple of russian women here, but they are involved with somebody already. Maybe if you post an ad on match or other dating sites and specify that you are looking for a slavic woman in Chicago, some of them will come out of the woods.

From my visits in Chicago, it seems to me that there are more Ukrainians than there are Russians there...

There are indeed some more Ukrainians in Chicago than Russians.

My suggestion would be probably trying to advertize in Russian language local newspapers. Another option may be to try entering the community.

But if you are exploring local dating, why do you want exactly a Russian woman? why not just any good woman, of any ethnicity?
