One thought about the overlay of a marriages in a year, and divorces in a year--- its a faulty comparison. While the marriages mark the beginning of a relationship, divorces are the termination of marriages of varying lengths.

Its more useful to view marriages by GROUPS, and watch how long those marriages last.

This persons web site has been discussed already in other threads. Obviously he has a problem with Russian women or may be with himself. I do not put much faith in his research.

I figure that in the US it 50/50 if the marriage will last and that if it is a foreigner marring a American the results will be the same as it is not so much the cultural differences but a persons environment they are currently in that causes the divorce rate

As with anything in life you get what you are willing to put into it.
