Well good news is that E and I have scheduled a time for a phone call. Olga her friend has been so kind to allow us to use her phone. So just to make sure that I am dialing the right number, 011 380.97.173.9999 Does this seem right?

Now of course I have to think about topics of conversations.

HI EasyTarget....from USA...dial 011...then the country code (russia) 7 then it is city code and number ....unless i am mistaken, after you dial 011, you have 11 numbers to dial...at least that is how many i dialed to a fixed line telephone, maybe it is different with a cell phone.....i hope i was of some help.

I agree, country code is missing after 011. And for russia that is 7.

so 011-7-380.....

One peculiar thing, for Moscow when you are abroad you usually dial 011-7-095-.....

Inside Russia you skip the zero of the area code. But since most/all cell phones starts with 9, it seems that the 0 is required for international companies to get it working.

It is annoying that I can not use the same number in my phone to call the embassy when I call from Denmark as when I am in russia.

No Easy is correct if that is an Ukraine number 011380 no 7.

IF his lady is in Ukraine he'd dial 011-380-xxx and so forth. Ukraine's country code is 38

Yes it is the Ukraine. Should have stated that. Blah!
