Calling Card Solutions to Kazakhstan Cellular?!?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have been using www.prepaidonline.com for a few months while I was in Kuwait and now that I am back in the States. Initially I used the PCtoPhone for around 17cents per minute. I then switched to a phone calling card that advertised 16.5c per minute. After a couple weeks I realized they were charging me 40c per minute. They apologized and adjusted my rate and credit to 19.4c per minute.

I am trying to shop around for an alternative solution, hopefully something cheaper. My fiancee lives in Almaty, Kazakhstan and I normally call her cellular phone (which has a higher charge versus landline). Is there anyone who has called or still does now that can share their plans with me for comparison?

Here are a few competitive alternatives I am deciding on. I estimate around 15-20 minutes per day and possibly $100/month. If I can do better I would love to

My wife right now is in Kirgyzstan,Bishkek visiting her mother.
I used to buy calling cards off the internet but now I just go to a Russian food store down the street.
They sell various calling cards behind the counter and they seem like they are cheaper to use.
When it runs out , just go get another 10 dollar card.
It cost me like 13 0r 14 cents a minute to call Bishkek from California.
The internet card I used before was 6 cents a minute to Moscow but Bishkek was 26 cent a minute so this new card is saving me money.
I bought it at the Russian store but looking at the card it is www.globalconnecttelecom.com
Never checked out the website but maybe there are rates listed to Almaty.
It not to far from Bishkek.
Maybe you should just look for a Russian store in your area and ask someone there. They will know the cheapest card to buy.
Also the calls are very clear and I never have been dissconnected at least yet.
