Thought it as well to start this thread.

Direct flights to Kyiv.

British Airways from Heathrow.
Ukrainian Airlines from Gatwick.

Most other flights are with stop(s). usually 1, but some are listed as 2.

BA direct @ Ј306 return, in November 2005. from Heathrow.
Alitalia, Ј188 return with 1 stop in Milan, November 2005, from Heathrow.

Cheers Lester - That helps give me more of an idea of current prices. I had a feeling I saw BA flights that were around that sort of figure for a direct flight. I will probably be buying my return flight with them in the next week or so.

What is a 'non-stop flight' classed as? Surely this is the same as a 'direct flight'?

I was looking into a BA flight on www.airline-network.co.uk, and it had a symbol next to a return flight from Heathrow to Kiev.

Hi Zaniac

I hav'nt flown from Heathrow all mine have been from Manchester,
the stop is not to bad just over two hours flight then a three hour wait then back on the plane for another couple of hours,

going through customs for the second half is just a quick look at your passport and tear of the end of the ticket only a couple of minutes,

not like a long haul to the States,

I've seen a flight going for about Ј244 (a non-stop flight) from Heathrow. I'm trying to make arrangements with my lady, Natasha for dates for my visit next month. I've been Gatwick, but have never been to Heathrow yet.
