Tell us about your favourite Russian TV series.

By the way, these are better for language learning than films because when you get used to the voice and speech habits of the main characters, then you can understand more and more of what is said.

I don't think I ever got into any serials, but there are a few shows I really like such as "Klucheviy moment" (which is actually Urkainian, not Russian) and "Snimite eto nemedlenno." I used to watch "Okna" as well, but got sick of it after a while. Of course I'm looking forward to "Dom 2" with Ksenia Sobchak, Russia's answer to Paris Hilton

I also like "Zapretnaya zona" and "Zakritaya zona" (sort of a Ukrainian Michael Moore kind of thing). And my husband and I were recently on an Armenian hidden camera show. So I do indulge in a little TV every now and then
