I want to congratulate and thank GreenBarb for his devoted work in designing the logo for the RMP UK-Ireland Forum section.

For his service and dedication to the logo, as well as his communal approach in working with other members of the UK-Ireland section on the logo, he has been awarded a "General Service Medal," which looks like this, and which will always be displayed on his profile, as well as on the Awards and Medals page:

Bob and Mark have been the cornerstones of the thriving Aussie Russian Meeting Place forum section.

Their dedication and leadership of that section has made that section helpful to it members downunder.

They have also given great service to the RMP forums as a whole as moderators, and have helped steered the RMP ship as a part of the Moderator Team.

Thanks for your contributions and efforts, Mates.

There are some more special service awards that have been deservedly received today:

Cheburashka: (text from his award): "Cheb has been with the RMP nearly since its inception, and has been such a positive supportive force in the forum. His unique thoughtful generous spirit has helped make the RMP a more unique place."
I want to also add that I appreciate Cheb's contributions to the RMP very much. It is hard to imagine the RMP without Cheb's humor, compassion and dedication.

inlove "Inlove has provided a valued Russian woman's opinion to the forum that many of our members have very much appreciated. Her intelligence and dedication to the RMP as a Mod has been a great benefit to our community." It is difficult to imagine the RMP without inlove, for her superior feedback and comments that only she, with her unique perspective, can provide.

Pin Boy "As one of our most veteran members, Pin Boy has stood by the RMP, and has, like bedrock, served solidly as a RMP Moderator. We appreciate his service to our RMP community." Thank you for the patience and dedication that you have shown over the past 3 1/2 years.

waiting123 "Since joining the RMP last Spring, waiting has devoted himself to helping support the forum as a Moderator, and has participated in the forums in a way that makes the RMP richer." Thank you, waiting. The other Mods trusted your commitment and judgement, and I see that their trust in you was justified.

GoingToRussia is an example of supporting the RMP's mission to help others by sharing our experiences and thoughts to the information library of the RMP forum. Thanks GoingTR.

firemansam "Fireman is one of the leading and most solid Aussies in the RMP. He is always there to support his fellow RMP Mates. He has helped build the RMP Aussie section to the thriving place that it is." I appreciate all of your efforts, Fireman.

Here is the definition of the "Extraordinary Service Award":
(originally, "The Order of the Patriotic War 1st class") This medal is awarded for exceptional & extraordinary service, beyond the call of duty, to our RMP Forum Community.

This defines perfectly Searcher's role and commitment and service to the RMP, which Lena and I both appreciate and value very much.

Searcher has been awarded the very first RMP "Extraordinary Service Award."

searcher (the text from his award)... "There is not enough that can be said about Searcher. One of our first members & Mods, he has looked after the RMP when Lena & I could not. He has treated the RMP with the care as if it were his home. He has earned the first Extraordinary Service Award."
