Beach visitors in Odessa get an unknown illness!

People in Odessa got an illness that was very similar
to food poisoning.
After they had visited the beach, they found themselves in the hospitals.
All of them have similar symptoms: muscle pains, loss of orientation and vomiting.
Over several days, three children were hospitalised in the local isolation hospital.
The diagnosis was “food poisoning of an unknown cause”.
But the parents deny the idea of food poisoning.
Doctors of the sanitary services advised people to listen to the diagnosis of the specialists.
The chief of the department of communal hygiene, Alla Kildesheva thinks that the illness
was caused either by food products or by polluted water which ,
after rain, contains many micro-organisms.

The Black Sea! so true Pin Boy!
I didn't go into the sea in Odessa last year, it looked foul!

When it rained there, the cars were all streaked with a brownish tint afterwards. also, looking down from the plane, on my leaving, you could see the smog!
ugh!

Suppose Kryvyj Rih, being very industrial, will be much the same!
Still, I will be too busy to notice!

speaking of the environment...at a park in odessa, a friend and i were squatting and looking at something on the ground (can't remember what), but the woman made a remark along the lines of, "your dirt (US) is cleaner than ours (Ukraine)"...wasn't sure what she meant, thought it was just a joke, but afterwards i realized she was referring to the cleanliness of the environment...
