It looks really promising. I'm especially interested in the opinion of women who came in Europe or the U.S.

The questions encompass a wide range of subjects, which is one of the things I like about this forum.
It's not only about "finding a woman" per se but also being fascinated by another european culture, which is far away and so close from me at the same time. Well at least for yours truly and for other members of the forum from what I see.

Posted by: Khashyar

Thank you for your feedback, Michel.

Yes, I am hoping that some of the Russian women members in our Russian Language forum will write some essays for us.

I also look forward to articles that express the perspectives from our Western female members, and also definitely from our Western men.

By the way, Michel... I think it would be interesting to read an article about the "relationship between Europe and Russia (or France and Russia)"... France had a big cultural influence on Russia over the past 300 years.

Also, if you would like, you can also write an article about a "French man's search for a Russian partner," which describes your experiences with Russian-Western relationships, or even a description of a trip to Russia.

I think it would be fantastic and serve the Greatest Good if every member of the forum wrote at least one article, so that we can collect and share our collective experiences and knowledge.

I don't want to put pressure on anyone, just encourage as all to participate in building a strong knowledge base from which we can all become wiser, and with which we can help future visitors to the Russian Meeting Place.

Hi Everyone,

I am checking Lena's article "Russian/ Belarusian on Marriage Traditions" (and description of our wedding), and Lena did a very good job in writing an informative and interesting long article...

I had wanted to finish looking over the article a few weeks ago when I was in Baltimore, but I have been so busy.

But, I believe that I will finish looking over it and will have it posted on our website very soon.

This article gives a fairly vivid description of what our wedding will be like.

I will let you know when it is finished.

I am creating an articles/ essays main index page, where we will index all of the articles about Russia, Russian Culture and Russia-Western Relationships.

Also, I am going through the forum and finding threads that provide information that I think that people would be interested in, as well as provide good reference information about Russia.

I believe that I have pulled out about 20 articles thus far that I believe would be good for our article base.

(That's what I've been working on for the past couple of days).

Does my old article from the April issue of "POLONIA" magazine dedicated to the Polish influence on Russia in the late 17th century (that I posted here once) count ?

Posted by: Khashyar

Absolutely, Pawel...

I will post that article in the website article section in a couple of days when I am posting the next round of articles.

Thanks for reminding me, and feel free to write more articles about Russian history for the website....

Khash,
If I post something detailed does the copyright belong to me or does it become the copyright of this website? Gib

Although a lot is being written on the present, I think a good topic might be about an individual who left the SU because of marriage and still married to the same person. So the marriage would be at least going on for 15 yrs. min.
