She has written to my Hotmail addy which is fine as it is the addy I give out to weed out the wheat from the chaff so to speak, but my Hotmail addy just puts giberish in place of Cyrillic. I have tried the above suggestions, tried every encoding available to my 2 web browsers. I Explorer 6 point whatever, and Firefox 1.5 and still nothing comes up with any sense. Any help given is greatly appreciated.

1. Install thunderbird on your pc.. 2. Forward the email from hotmail to your "good" email address. 3. open it in thunderbird 4. Try changing the font option to see if that makes any difference to the output. I have no idea if this will work but it's possible. The big question is will hotmail send a font output it doesn't understand or will it try to replace what it sees. If it acts dumb this should work. If it tries to be clever it won't. |
