Hello,

Has anybody married a Russian woman with school age kids. How does one go about finding a school that accepts a non-english speaking kid?

Thanks,
Bruce

all u.s. public schools must accept the child no matter the level of english language proficiency.

Wlecome Dave. You are spot on....there are good and bad in every country. My advice is to read the forums on scamming, get on the net and look into Russian culture, history customs ect. Its good to learn some basic Russian. Be prepared to go over....even just to see the place its great. Take your time and never send money.....at least till you have met them. Dont go too far away from the age of women that you would in your own country. When you find a good Russian woman they will light up your life....but its also hard work, the language, the distance the immi issues ect.......but mate its well worth it.

Posted by: AkMike

Just look around here for a bit and you'll probably find answers to every question you have Dave.
IMO FSU women are among the best around as a rule. I married one that is among your 5%! Almost 2 years married and no serious spats or arguements. She's been in the country for about 1 1/2 years and loves it but she's getting just a tad homesick so we're going back for a visit soon.

Hi Dave, it's good to see another Yank from Michigan on this site!!! I shopped around quite a bit before I went to see a Russian Woman (RW). It took 8 months before I found someone I would like to meet. Others just fly to Russia and hope for the best, very few plans. Both ways work but my way was the best for me.

My wife is a very forgiving RW. She will voice he opinion and let you know her stand or feelings but that is as far as it goes. No yelling or grudges.

As far as gifts go, it is nice but they do not have to be elaborate or expensive. I brought a present for my wife's cousin, who is like a brother to her, he was hesitent on accepting it but he did. The gift was less then $10.

A "GLOW", never heard anyone say that before but I "get your drift". If my wife "glows" at me just right and lightly touches me ... I turn to jelly. It is like being hypnotized and paralized at the same time. I just look at her blue eyes and I go to a happy place. No women has done that to me before, only her. They are unique and very special woman!

Read all you can and ask questions. It is a great website with many helpful members.

Good luck with your adventure.

Hey Ya'll I'm terry. I was looking for stuff on russia such as the news and fell on this site. I had personals on yahoo and plentyoffish with no luck. I don't wanna talk about it. About 5 weeks ago this young lady sent me an e=mail. I guess it was off one of those sites i mentioned. I don't remember. We have e-mailed back and forth everyday except Sat. and Sundays. She says she uses her work comp. And no fone in her aptmnt. But will call from the town fone. She told me the name I'll have to look back. She said don't mail packages as they get lost and could take months to get. But I have her address. to send a hand written letter. I gave her my cell#. She does answer some questions but not all. Sometimes none get answered. She lives in a little town Kamen-na-Obi. she sends nice pics alot. She is very nice to look at Some she is all dolled up and some is with no make up and she still looks good. All pics have what I think is Russia. Looks like it. Old buildings an such. I really like this women. I just would like some feedback. I don't want to disrespect her or anything. 'Cause who knows. I might have to make a trip. i think it would be awesome. Like Ya'll say"If nuthin' else it'll be a killer vacation. Thanks for your time. I have been reading these threads for about 3 hours now and I gotta crash....Terry................

Welcome to RMP Terry good luchk in ya journey

Hello Terry and welcome to the RMP.

I wouldn't worry about questions not being answered, my wife still does this!!! If you ask enough times, they will answer if they understand the question. The biggest barrier is the language and the culture. There are free on line translators which work good most of the time. The culture has to learned and can be done through this sight or on your own.

Sounds like you've got the start of a good relation. You also have a good attitude, "it'll be a killer vacation". If you are interested in this girl and marriage, you might want to start planning a trip in the near future.

One tip, if she asks for money she is not a "real" Russian woman. Honest Russians are very proud people and will not willingly accept money ... unless you are married to them!!! Also do not send any money out of the kindness of your heart unless you have met her and want to pay for phone or Internet bills.

I haven't met a Russian woman that doesn't like chocolate and flowers so they make good first gifts.

You are correct, it is a good sight. I've learned a big percentage of what I know about Russia and Russian woman just from reading this site so if I were you, I would continue to read, ask questions, and join in a conversation.

Good luck with your journey.

WOW! You folks are the best. I got on the net when I moved in with a buddy after his wife flew the coup. I wasn't really looking for a wife. just a female friend to spend time with. These women here all want to "play". But this one I've been chatting with has stolen my heart. Where did this come from? I am not very trusting of this computer world thing at all. But I truely like this feeling. I wouldn't drive over a hundred miles to meet a woman here. As Ya'll know the baggage carried by these US women. But hey if it works....I am so outa here. Thanks again for the quick replys. Good luck and congrats GTR and Good luck IRA156. I'll shut up and listen for awhile..... Bama boy Terry.... Roll Tide Roll!!!

We were all "newbies" at one time and this site and the people has certainly helped me in so many ways. I'm just repaying this site and it's people for all of their help. Members come and go but if they pass on information and knowledge, then members will always have the information and knowledge to meet and marry Former Soviet Union (FSU) women.

Below is the web address for my frist newbie posts and the story of GTR.

Good Luck and Happy Landings!!!

You should write a book on this. It has to be the best work I have ever read. My heart goes out to both of you, GTR & Mrs. GTR. I sit here with tears in my eyes.
Don't tell anyone though, as I am a tough manly man. Hear me roar- MEOW!!

Your story gives me inspiration. That I am not insane for pursueing this great task. I would have laughed you off the planet for even thinking of this 6 weeks ago. My RW (hopefully) has put me in a trance. She is all I can think of. My heart swells and when I see her pictures, oh boy, My blood pressure goes thru the roof.
A lot of what you said is what I have been thinking to the T.. These past 6 weeks have been an awakening for me. I don't know if it is love but if it is torture "chain me to the wall".
Thank You so much again my new friends! As this site will be my sounding board. See Ya'll soon! Terry N.

Thanks for the compliment Terry. I could not have gotten this far without this forum and the members that have become my support group.

A romance with a Russian woman is not easy and it has it's ups and downs ... mostly downs until she is with you in the States. It is not cheap either. Some people only make 1 trip to Russia and some make 10 or more. Either way it is not cheap because there are text messages, calling, e-mails (in Russia you pay by the hour to use the Internet), and any sort of support you send your future bride.

We (GTR and Lana) have concidered writing a book. You must admit, falling in love in Russia is romantic enough but we have had many set backs to slow this slow process down even more. I haven't even started the paperwork to bring her to the States yet because we are concentrating on her upcoming chemotherapy and then getting her well enough for travel.

Well I'm glad you enjoyed my story but I hope you learned something from it. Remember it is okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.

Take care and good luck!!!

Posted by: mistermopar

Welcome to the RMP Terry.
GTR is right about learning from our mistakes,I am still learning..LOL
4 trips so far to the FSU,I had a great time each trip, made mistakes and learned from them.
Made many friends, seen great places and had some of the best food I have ever had.

If nothing happens with the relationship when going over to visit a lady,it has at least got to be one heck of a vacation you can tell all your friends and family about.

Yes Terry, Russian women and this website is addictive ... also the airline flights when you are planning a trip to Russia!!!

If you start to shake and sweat because you need a Russian fix, then it is time to "finish with this computer thing".

As I recall I was sort of a Smart to her so obviously she didn't read it. Like i said "sexy beast " is an understatement. But maybe I am the MAN!
Then I woke up... Where do they come from? How do they find us?
she said she deleted her profile. Uh, what profile?
Momma said I got sucker writ 'cross muh forehead that only females can see!
What to do? I love my job! Its the people I can't stand...
You think I am being messed with? Or lost in translation? Maybe I should read my horrorscope for today... But anyway I am very tired as I could not sleep much last night. So I will check this when I get up at 2 am.
Thanks for help and info.

I am thrilled to become a member of this site. My name is Kirk (Northernlight) I am from Friendly Manitoba, Canada. My interest in Russian women was purely accidental.

Take notice (Maclode) > I was contacted by what I thought was a beautiful
Russian women, on the Yahoo personals website. I was part of a scam where someone lost almost $2000.00. Here is my story.

As the daily and then weekly email letters and pictures came to me, I became lost in what I thought was love for this beautiful Russian woman, who made contact with me. Each letter sent to me the person would reveal pieces and pictures of a life. She claimed to have employment in the medical field, along with attending church once a week, the whole nine yards I fell hook, line, and sinker for this fantasy lady.

About three weeks into the relationship she stated that she had an uncle that lived abroad that would pay for her expenses to come to Canada. NOW the catch was for me to go and set up a bank account in the Royal Bank. So like a love sick fool, I went and got the account. A couple of letters passed and there was no mention of the money or account. Then an email came stating the uncle was to deposit money into the account, and for me to withdraw and forward the money via Western Union. A few days passed and she said she would start talking by means of I.M. She gave me the new address etc. on a Monday by the end of the week Friday, while chatting she said the uncle deposited money into the account. I was now to go and withdraw the money and immediately send it by way of the W.U. which was to be made out to her male cousin. I was given a name of some person who would go collect the cash for her while we chatted.

That was the last time I talked with that person. On the following Monday I received a phone call from a bank representive from their head office. He explained the fraud to me and that I was scammed. I had to immediately go and give copies of the W. U. document and close the account.

While all this was taking place there were stop signs from nearly the start of our relationship. As I recall the person never answered any or very few questions I asked. My gut feeling was that something was going on, but I was never asked for money. I went along not realizing what was happening, and that someone else was being scammed out of the $2,000.00

Since all this has taken place, I have become very interested in Russian women. I have joined a free singles site Rus****/Amer****. From reading, reading and more reading I found the link to this site. Sorry I have taken so much of your time, but I wanted to make sure other people would not fall prey to scammers. There are the scams and someone is taken for money, but also some are victim of crimes of the heart.

It's like the members here say if there are red flags and your stomach senses something is not right, then stop and listen to your senses. Thank You for your time. I sense that there are very good people here and I can learn how to go about meeting some very beautiful women.

Sincerely
Kirk

Kirk, your post made me think of something. Generally, Russians/Ukrainians do not attend church once a week. Churches/cathedrals are open most of the time and anyone can walk in for a prayer or to put up a candle. People sometimes go to church during large holidays like Easter or Christmas. I should say that an exception to this should be people that joined some of the "new churches" that are establishing themselves in the FSU, such as Mormon, JW's and others. On these I am not sure what the attendance frequesncy is. Anyways, hello to a fellow Canuck. Good luck to ya, eh.

Since my American RMP buddies got married and brought their RW to the States, its been pretty much just me. I have to clean the cobwebs from the Pit every once in a while and the Bunker has been boarded up for months. It was the Night Club for Americans on RMP!!! I'm sure I will disappear for a while when my wife get here so I can't blame them.

And here I am. My name is Jeff, soon to be 36 year old male who's been toying with seeking a Russian bride over the last 3 years. I've done some research and read some articles, but I don't feel as if it's been enough. I was actually pointed in this direction via "Elenas Models" web site, to which I was directed from "Tim's List".

Now that I'm here, I'm VERY over whelmed with no idea where to even begin. I have visited and lived in Kyiv, although it was 10 years ago. But that time has left a significant impression on me, which is why I'm seeking out a Russian bride.

Where would you reccomend that I start? What am I not looking for that I should? What questions have I ignored? Any advice would be appreciated. I look forward to being an active poster on the boards.

Welcome to the RMP Blanton13.
Hummm,Well you could start by reading some of the threads posted on here.

But since you have lived in the Ukraine before, you do have a bit of an advantage over some.I am going to guess you know the language or at least some.

You could also start looking at some of the singles sites.
And...ask questions. There are differant areas on the site which you can post differant questions.

Yes Elena's Models is a good site, I met my wife there.

Well I guess you might be in contact with 1 or more women. E-mail, call, write, web cam with 1 or more for 2-3 months then pick your favorite. Get to know them a little better and then go see them. I make it sound simple but that is basically it. I would start by reading some of these threads, here is the web address: http://www.russianmeetingplace.com/...isplay.php?f=82

This is more or less the getting started phase of meeting a Former Soviet Union (FSU) woman.

Ask a lot of questions, no question is stupid. If your FSU woman asks for money, she isn't out for love ... she's out for money. Dump her fast!!!

I think that's enough to get you started. We are a friendly bunch, for the most part, and you will catch on eventually.

Good luck and Happy Landings!

Actually, I haven't started communication just yet. I'm just playing voyuer at this point. I've actually got my list of what I'm looking for, I've got a couple of rough drafts of my initial letter, as well as a pic or two. Things I've learned for free from different sites here and there. I just haven't actually crossed the line at this point.

And to be honest, I think finding this board is going to be the last push that I need to go over it. The hardest part about anything is the feeling that you're in it alone and you've got no one to ask questions of, so when you make a mistake, it's HUGE. And this is the LAST area that I want to make a mistake in.

I'll check out the different posts here, but sheesh~! How many different posts are there? 1874724? It's like a post for every burger sold at McDonalds~! I appreciate GTR's link, I'll be reading some of those today while pretending to work.

Thanks~!

You know what they say: we can't steer a ship that isn't moving. Jump in! Once you start making things happen, it will be easy for you to gain the knowledge to be effective and the wisdom to avoid mistakes. There are some amazing people on this forum. You'll like it here.

Welcome.

You're a member of this forum so you are not alone. Many people sign on every day that will be willing to help you with this process. Once you find your Russian beauty, you will want to know how to get her to the "States". Once you meet her and return to the "States", you will go through withdrawal of not being with her. You will use this forum as a support system.

Read the threads in the link I provided and ask questions. Before you know it, you'll be giving advise to a newbie!

I wish you the best of luck!!!

Hey Blanton. You are very lucky to get here before you start the search process. Read up here about the scams ...the good dating sites ect before you start. Another piece of advice i would give is also get on the net and read abou Russia or Ukraine to get an understanding about the culture, customs and history. They are wonderful places and wonderful people. Happy trails

Hey Blanton 13,

Good to get your letter. I forgot to tell you to learn the russian alphabet. It came in VERY handy when I was in Belarus!

Actually I'm already a couple of steps ahead on the language count. I actually lived in Kiev for about 10 months right out of college. I was working with the Nazarene Church over there. They wanted me to learn the language so I was put into an emmersion course taught by the wife of a former pobah in the military. It was frustrating and I didn't last overly long in it.

In it's place I would trade English for Russian/Ukrainian lessons with the bus drivers. It was awesome. Of course I learned a mix of both Russian and Ukrainian, didn't learn the support grammar, but I did learn the alphabet. By the time I left people asked me where in St. Pete I had grown up and if I knew people there.

I did not know where to post this as this is my first post since I became a member in 2004. I prefer education through reading,Many many exciting trips to Russia, and big thanks to kasha, lina, rt King Bob and of course Jim Fl and Lilia , the best man and brides maid at our wedding in Palm Beach on a cruise ship,( Thats another story )

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Olga who lived in a very small town not to far from the top of the world. She was quite pretty, though she would not let anyone else know that she believed it, when they told her so. And she was intelligent! By night she studied the heavens and the stars, carefully watching their movements across the great sky

As the seasons changed from spring to summer to autumn and then to winter. By day she studied music ,art, literature and poetry, so she could be a productive member of society and teach the children of her kingdom all she had learned.
The people of the valley where the small town stood, were regular people with
regular hopes and dreams, but life was not so easy there. No one really noticed it was difficult because that was the only life that they knew. They never gave much thought to
things being much nicer somewhere else. Olga was different in a way than those around her, she was inquisitive. She knew that there was much more to the world than just what was near the castle and she wanted to learn about the strange people and places that lay beyond her valley. She longed for the adventure that exploration and the unknown would bring. So, over the course of time she prepared as best she could. She read what she could read and studied languages of far off places to try to teach herself to read, write
and speak the way people beyond the valley did. As time passed she learned the strangest of these languages, it was spoken by many different people around the world, but all who spoke it, did it so differently! People in two different places would use the same word to describe to completely unrelated objects, and yet for the most part, they could all understand each other. This language used many unusual symbols she had never seen before, only a few even resembled the letters of her own alphabet, and they all had different sounds than what she thought they should. Even so, over time she got very
good at writing and understanding it. The speaking part was not so easy because there was nobody around her to speak the language! But Olga persevered, and when she thought she was ready, she sent a message out across the great oceans to see if any of these people from far off lands would write her in return…

In the tropics, near the equator, where it never gets cold and the seas are a mix of emerald green and cobalt blue, lived an adventurous man, self-reliant and intelligent. He had seen most of the western hemisphere and some of the eastern hemisphere in his travels. He had seen the majesty of the tallest mountains to the tranquility of the smallest islands. He had gone through snow drifts twice his height, and rainstorms that blew whole kingdoms away. He had walked with lions and tigers, and fought the big fish of the sea. But he was a calm and gentle man, happy with his life and the small home in the
forest by the sea where he now spent his days. He had no reason to be angry or mean, his life had treated him well and brought him much excitement through the years, and he was happy to sit back at the end of a long day and listen to the tree frogs and parrots as they played in the last light of the evenings, just before the sun slipped behind the horizon. One evening late of autumn, as he came back from a long day of legal consulting, he discovered this note:

Hello, My name is Olga, I live in the far north,
This my poem written for my star of hope:

Sometimes the quiet deafens heart-rending cry.
Sometimes the rage is Weaker then butterfly
And the far star is brighter than dazzling sun,
and autumn rain is more then fun.
Sometimes I cherish thought about you,
and gloomy sky becomes light blue.

I write you without much time...
My days have been long
at the great theatre in the center
of my region in the far north…
I came to this world in a small village of here
I don’t remember my father
For he passed on when I was three
My mother had to work hard.
Two grandmothers taught me to cook, to knit,
to sew and gardening,
But I liked to be with my one grandfather
in his garage.

Some creative abilities I took from my mother.
The elder brother of my father taught me to read, to write
before school and to play chess and draughts.
When I was not playing football and pirates with boys.
I spent my time in the library
And was reading and helping librarians.
I graduated from music school and can play the piano.
After school I graduated from pedagogic college.
I was studying part time in academy.
I’ll write about me more if you want it and answer
on all of your questions.

Sorry, my English is not very correct.
With my best wishes, Olga.

He did not understand why, but he seized the moment and replied with a
passionate desire. They started to send messages back and forth across the great ocean almost every day. Olechka told him stories about her valley, its river and the ice and snow that covered the forests and meadows for most of the year. And he, in turn told her stories of the exotic animals that shared his tropical paradise, the sunsets over the water, and the house in the forest not far from the sea. He was starting to understand the voice inside that had urged him to answer Olechka’s letter. There was something special about
this woman; he could not quite figure it out. She intrigued him. She sparked his imagination. She made him think about things he had long forgotten.
The difficulties and problems of everyday life in the tropics did not seem so
important any more, and while his life was a happy one. Everything around him seemed better for some strange reason. The grass was greener, the birds sang more cheerfully, and the smell of morning dew was somehow sweeter. Even though fall was fading and had barely turned to winter, it was as if the season’s were not changing in his new paradise. They laid in bed at night and dreamed fantastic dreams of each other while they slept. Every now and then, if only for a brief moment, they could hear each others voices
as if they were standing side by side. As time went on there was almost nothing they didn't share with each other. He told his family of her...and she told hers, of him. Strangers passing by, could see the happiness on each of their faces, as they went about their daily lives.

One day, the two decided they could not wait any longer; impractical as it was -- being separated by two continents and an ocean; and needed to be together even if it was only for a short while. The talked about making the expedition across the sea to her valley. While he knew that he could easily make the journey, it defeated the original purpose of all her hard work learning the new language. So he came up with a plan, which she quickly agreed to: They would each set out from their homelands; He would travel northeast following the constellations in the northern night sky, and she would
travel west following the setting sun. They would meet in her king’s city.

Meanwhile, she went to the king and asked for permission for him to come to
their kingdom. The king told her it was not so simple to just say “yes” or “no”. The king needed details and papers to record this event, “Who is this strange man from across the great sea?” Together the two got everything the king asked for. The king took a long time looking over the papers and reluctantly agreed to let him come to her. Everyone rejoiced at the good news, and the final preparations were made. The only thing left to do was to wait for a day when the winds were favorable, and the two would be together at last.

Despite the beautiful winter in his paradise, there came a day that seemed perfect for the trip, the day was cool and sunny, the skies were dotted with fluffy cumulous clouds. He grabbed his bag, filled with provisions he had collected while waiting for this day, and set a course northeast across the great ocean toward this very cold land in the northern hemisphere where they had chosen to meet. At almost the exact same moment, Olechka, with supplies of her own, started her journey West over the hills and through
the meadows. She ventured to the port where she two had agreed to meet. She arrived at the port with much time to spare. She took some time to think as she waited "Would the trip be a safe one?", "Will I know him when I see him?", "Is he really going to be there waiting?", "Will he be in real life, the man I have come to love from all the long letters we wrote?". On and on it went like this for a long time, as soon as she put one question out of her head, she would think of another. This was all so exciting, but frightening at the same time. As she stood there in port, answers eluded her for a time which seemed
like eternity. She could barely stand as she battled to stay afloat in her pool of relentless self-doubt. “Would he love me for me?” “Will he see the beauty of the person he has fallen in love with or be disappointed and turn around and head home?”

By now, his journey had reached it's end. It was a smooth and comfortable trip but seemed longer than he had ever taken before. His vessel came into port. She watched it unload, passengers stepping one by one onto this frozen land that she now realized was a different world than where he calls home. One by one they gathered their wits and possessions, and then met up with the one whom distance would no longer play adversary. One by one they laughed and cried. Then another unwelcome thought came to her mind. Could they actually be laughing at her? In fact, one by one they found their
match. Everyone. Everyone but the girl in the Bowler hat and the gray fox coat. Would she be the one left by herself? The one left all alone to fend with the harshness of a winter that just earlier seemed all but existent? Fairy tales are fairy tales and life is life. As the distinction began to become evident to her, there he was. There he was! As the port grew nearer, the time to meet the love of his life, the woman he had dreamed about, ensued. There were questions in his mind, "Would I really know her?" And then, like an angel, she appeared! It was her! It had to be her; the girl in the Bowler
hat and the gray fox coat. There is no doubt it is her, I knew she would come, and I would know her as soon as I saw her! Olga smiled a smile that spoke a thousand words as they made their way through the crowd, toward an open area of floor. They stopped right in front of each other, looking deeply into one another's' eyes. They stood there holding each other and passionately kissing for some time, and although there were thousands of
other people around they felt like they were the only two in the whole place.

And now the journey begins…

Hi everyone,
My name is Emilio. I live in the suburb of Earlwood in Sydney. I met my wife Elena just over 3 years ago online and went to meet her and her son in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I stayed there for two weeks then started the Prospective Spouse Visa Process. This took about 9 months from start to finish. We will celebrate our 2 year marriage anniversary next week. Elena has made friends with a few other women who have also migrated here on Prospective Spouse visas (they live in Pyrmont, Prospect and Minto) - this has been a big help to her. She is a hairdresser by trade and also a dressmaker but will be going to TAFE this year to become a Nurse. I have two children from a previous marriage. In the past two years I have seen more of Sydney and surrounds than I did in the previous 39 years! If you're interested you can see some of our photos at the following web site - http://members20.clubphoto.com/emil...er-5271-1.phtml
Hopefully I will have something to add to some of the discussions here. Thanks.

Welcome Emilio & Elena,
I know what you mean about seeing more in 2 years than your previous 39. Been a whirlwind the last year with the missus arriving and we saw more in Sydney in the four months we were there than most of the locals who have been there their whole lives did. Follow this link: http://russianmeetingplace.com/foru...3299#post103299 and it will take you to a thread on the Aussie section of this forum where you can introduce yourself. Plenty of Aussie’s on this group and a few Sydneysiders as well.

Welcome Robert and EJC...

I look forward to both of your contributions to the RMP forums.

EJC, feel free to also post as many photos as you would like in the Russian Photo Galleries here.

I'm glad that there are so many Aussies in the forum. By the time that Lena and I can visit Australia, we will be able to tour the entire country

Hi New Guy,

You have to stay more then a few days. If you give it a chance, this site is like a support group. You have a lot of waiting to do before your lady arrives. This site will give you information on how to cope with the waiting and what you should be doing to make your soon to be bride more comfortable. Good luck to you.

We North American's have to stick together because the Aussies are taking over this place. They take a while to get use to but they grow on you after a while ... kind of like a wart!

Hi all
My name is Sal. I am a 35 yo male from Boston. I work as a barber. I love to travel, but these days have been tough to get away.
I found my way here by accident. I got one of the scam e-mails one day but decided to let it play out and see how funny it could get and how long before she asked for money. It took 2 weeks before she asked for 1300.
Coincidently, the day after I saw a special on Discovery about Russian brides. It was meant to serve as a warning but the opposite happened. I was intrigued about what it would entail to meet a Russian woman.
I know a few Russians here and love the culture. I also just got out of a relationship with a woman I thought I was going to marry. Feeling lonely I searched the net and found this site.
What a wonderful resource! I joined Elenasmodels.com and although I havent yet started an online relationship I feel confident I will meet a beautiful sweet and intelligent woman on there.
I would love help in a couple areas however. Maybe somebody can help me.

1) I plan on moving to Italy in about 1-2 years and wonder if anybody knows how hard or easy it is to get a visa for a Russian woman. I do have Italian citizenship myself.
2) I don't know if I would be able to get to Russia or Ukraine or wherever more than once a year. How big a hindrance is this? There are 2 things I could do. Visit her in her country the first time. Then meet her in London or Montreal. I of course would pay for her.
Any thoughts on these problems or any advice you might have would be appreciated. I dont want to clutter the forum so please pm me or direct me to where I might find thse answers ( I already checked the Italian forum and didn't see anything there)
I look forward to getting to know some great people here!
Sal

Go a head and post your questions, there are differant areas where you will be able to post them.
Someone will answer or try to help any way they can.
What can I say about RW,I'm hooked.

Boston...nice place,I went to school just out side Boston when I was young,I think it was 1983-84,a little place called Prides Crossing,if memory is correct it was beside Beverly and Salem.

Welcome Salvatore, this is a great place to star learning.

What a wonderful resource! I joined Elenasmodels.com and although I havent yet started an online relationship I feel confident I will meet a beautiful sweet and intelligent woman on there.

EM is a good site, one of the best and is well liked by many on here, but as always be careful with whatever agency you go through and use those where you can communicate directly with the ladies like on EM

Sal

I cannot help about Italy, but it is very hard to get a visa for Canada (some of our Candians wil tell you more) and it is not easy to get one for the UK, even if you are a British citizen. So if you are Italian from my experience I think it would be even harder to get her a visa? although I cannot be totally sure.

There are many more on here who will be able to tell you more though.

Hi Sal,
I cannot give you advice on what you have asked, but I can advise you on this general line....
If you meet the woman of your dreams, to see her once a year will not be enough for either of you. I can recall a post by someone and I am ashamed to not remember who it was, but the crux of it was; feelings tend to dwindle after three months apart.
I would suggest to you that feelings may not actually dwindle as such, but three months is a long time to be apart from your loved one, once you have found her.

Trust me when I tell you, that if you really feel you have found the love you have been looking for, 2 weeks is a long time apart, let alone 12 months. You will want to be with her and even more so, she will want to be with you! If you cannot find more trips than once a year..... You are going to be in for a rough ride. It is sad but true.

I am not saying it can't be done, only it will cost you both emotionally.

As others have said in other threads, be sure this is the course you wish to travel before commiting to the journey.

Sam.

I really don't consider my wedding a marriage since I was with her as a husband for 1 week before I left for the "States" and haven't seen her since. I think it was easier for me to forget her and move on. I'm just waiting for my divorce on February 27th. Russian women seem to be a little leary of you when you say you are married, and rightly so.

Humor is a part me. Had it my entire life. If you can't laugh ... you can't live!

SO SMILE EVERYONE!!!

It is very easy to get into Italy. Wife has two friends that live there and they were able to do it with the minimum of fuss, with things like fiancee visas etc. England seems to be the tough one to get into in Europe.

Try this one, I cannot vouch for them personally, but be careful and just do some searches on the net I am sure there are others out there and this one here looks quite good, but again, do your research before jumping in with them.

Assuming you have not done it already, try typing into google, "Armenian Bride" and see the results. Could find your answer more quickly than you had imagined?

Sam.

When I was in Sochi Russia I saw many Amenians. They are on the other side of the Black Sea from Sochi. In fact I saw an Armenian wedding take place just before mine. You might what to google Sochi Brides or Black Sea Brides to see what you get.

Maine is a beautiful state ... but not in the winter!!!

Good luck.

Yes, Sochi is THE vacation spot for Armenians. Much like Los Angelenos going to Vegas or Palm Springs.......not that close, but not that far away, and on a consistant basis for short periods....

She said she did. I will know March 12th.

I'm headed to Moldova on April 21st for 2 weeks. She knows my story and says it's no problem.

Tell Lips hello but I won't be seeing him for a while ... I hope!
