I just wanted to extend my congratulations to rtking and his fiance Olga...

Olga arrived in Southern California from Ukraine in July...

While I was in Houston, Lena went to dinner with Bob and Olga and another Russian friend, and Lena enjoyed meeting Olga.

No that I am back in Los Angeles, I look forward to meeting Olga also, and I wish her a comfortable and easy transition.

Thanks everyone! Olga has found the forum and has been reading it in Russian. The last two weeks have been a blur and I don't remember much. There have been LOTS of things to do including a run out to Las Vegas to finalize wedding details for September. Non-stop action on this end... it's amazing all the things we've done so far.

Olga and I went to the dentist today. I sailed though with flying colors... but then again, I see the dentist every 6 months. Olga will need a little work done, but I think we'll have the more critical dental issues taken care of now, and the rest done after we're married and she's on my dental policy.

Olga made Borscht and Plov for me the other day. Yummy! Now I'm working on making Quiche Lorraine for her breakfast tomorrow. And Olga's birthday is this weekend, so I've got to run off and buy flowers and a present!

Wow... ain't love grand?
