I read on emporis.com the Russia tower will be built in Moscow. It will be over 2000 feet tall, the tallest building in Europe and probably in the whole world. There is also another construction project in Moscow,it is 3 new towers that will be 80 some floors and the other 60 some. They will be used for apartment and office space.
Moscow really does seem to be growing fast.Very interesting read about Moscow and it's growing skyline!

I wonder where they are in their plans to build the world's largest ferris wheel? I guess they quit trying to beat London on that fame.

Thanks for that link.I had no idea they were entering into the skyscraper boom like China. The buildings look like they will be absolutely beautiful! A beautiful addition to the architecture already in Moscow.
It's a shame you don't read about this stuff in our newspapers. Looks like a very interesting project.

That will sure be a long walk when the lifts break down...

I did a search on Yahoo news about this and they said it will be able to take a direct hit from a jet liner, security is obviously a big concern of the architects and it should be.
Oh my good that would be a heck of a workout to walk down 130 stories!

LOL... or the 2 months out of the year the elevators/lifts are down for servicing!

The article said they think they will be able to lease the office space without even having to put a ad in the newspaper.I think they may be wrong about that but maybe not Moscow dosen't have the number of buildings like New York or Chicago,LA,etc.
