Are Russian American marriages dramatically on the rise. I just got a letter from the consulate there and they said they are backed up 4 months. NVC sent to them May 20th and they have scheduled their first availble interview on September 20th.
They only do interviews on Mon-Thurs yet there scheudule on their website always shows a few interviews scheuduled on Fridays sometimes. Does anyone know why they do this? I was just wondering if I should get my Senator involved. Sept 20th will put me at about 400 days in this crazy process because of several screw ups on the part of Nebraska. I would like to get my finance here before school starts for her 2 boys.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

there is nothing your senator can do...or will do...not a matter of priority...i personally have not gone through this process but a suggestion is to go back and read through the many threads on this topic for useful info....good luck
