Real Names or codes?????

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This issue came up in the other poll I started. About using the real names in a post, and most specifically a trip report.

In my trip report last year I did the whole A1, N2, and L2 thing. I thought this was standard practice. My ‘A” abbreviations must of went up to A8. I thought this was done to protect the innocent, as well as the guilty.

For example, if you are writing a girl, you don’t want to be reading about her meeting some other guy. Some guys like to figure out whom you are talking about and search the websites until they got it right. You should have seen some of the PMs I got last year. Guys asking me if they were right about A2 and such. I guess they were just curious.

So what do you guys think?
Should we use real names in the trip reports or codes?

I voted codes.

I made the mistake of writing a trip report after I visited Omsk and did it cause an unbelieveable amount of trouble.

My fiance or her friend(s) read it and it was taken completely out of context.

I was asked to do the impossible. I had to find Khashyar and he was in Belarus at the time.....

I still can't post certain photos, etc.

Hi,

I'd go names; honesty matters. If it's going to upset someone who may read the forum, don't post unless it's important enough.

Just my opinion. But if I had to use codes, I wouldn't bother posting.

This board has been friendly enough that I've used names, but on the other boards I just used "L" until we were engaged. I'd say that it's up to your personal comfort level.

Stoichman--- curious if any of the women you visited in Ukraine (Odessa-Kherson, yes?) read your TR here?

Hi

I can understand the reason, that she must be stayed anynousmely, however if I write my GF (name) from Russia.

Then you use the real name, but withhold other info, there make it immposible to identify, like the age, personaly description, and city.

If somebody write these information, like she is xx yo, has a girl name Olga, lives in x town and work like zz, but call her A1 and so on, sorry, but then they still can figure it out.

stoichman,

i'm just glad you write such a great trip report...it was my first internet read everyday last summer...so i don't have an opinion as to how you refer to the ladies, just as long as you're writing....and a few choice photos wouldn't hurt either

have a blast and i hope this is the trip you find who you are looking for!!

I know that the girls working in the Khersongirls office found it. I don't know how much they shared with the ladies there I was seeing. They weren't too impressed with it. But I won't be going back there any time soon.

None of the other ladies said anything.
