Hello Everybody, I am Mountain Man. I have not been on this site for a while because I just sort of gave up for a while, because every woman I seemed to run into developed into a scam. It seemed no site was immune including this one. Yes, that is correct, one of the ladies on this site tried to scam me. Be that as it may, eventually, I got over it and I am now persuing "Plan A", find a Russian woman and you know the rest.
A couple of weeks ago, and yes I am going to mention names, two Russian women contacted me through a site called "Elitemate.com", which is a "pay to e-mail" site for both men and women.
The point is that I get about 1-2 day turn around, and neither of these women talk about anything risque. Both are about 28 years younger than I. But they both talk very casually and about mundane things in their everyday life. They ask my opinions on general topics of relationships, not love, sex, and send me money, now. They are friendly, but casual. Your Opinions Please. Do your all think this is legit? Both of these women seem to pretty much down to earth and have made their decision to find a foreign husband. They both mentioned that they did not consider age a factor. Neither has mentioned, financial status, or anything that would set off a alarm bell with me. So, if you would please let me know your opinions, Please.
Mountain Man.

I just got done dealing with a scam artist myself (see my post, Is this is scam). From what I read of your e-mail so far, it sounds suspect, but as Khashyar told me in my issue, use common sense. Do your homework on them, and something I learned a long time ago when I was working security, "Never ask a question unless you already know the answer to it." Learn all you can.

Also, Evgenya NEVER talked about anything financial at first, but as it went on for a week and a half, she talked about wanting to come here to be with me REAL BAD, and asked for $460 (and she asked for this in US dollars). It might also be worth noting, when I reported my situation to the FBI, an agent called me almost minutes after I submitted my information, and told me (as I am sure you already know) there are a million scams like this going on. So, like I said before, do your homework, research, and be careful.

Ok, thanks for your opinion. But if this is a scam, what do these women talk about when it is NOT a scam. Neither of these women have mentioned anything financial only what I believe should be important to a man and woman and their long lasting relationship. i.e. exactly what is described in the articles about "what a Russian woman really wants." I mean if people really have success with this, how do you distinuish between true and false?

I just got through with a short but very convincing scammer, I just posted a topic about. In anycase she did not talk about anything out of the ordinary, no sad stories, no asking for money. Yesterday I got a bossy email telling me to quit emailing other women, and I will stay with her when I visit. Today I get one saying she needs $200 to make a letter of invitation.

Most scammers might use forms but all don't so just make sure you keep your guard up and don't get attached. On Elena's website an important comment is made that seems to be true; If you think something is wrong it probably is.

As far as what women really talk about, what do they talk about in real life? It depends on the woman, but think about how a normal conversation would go.
