New Objective Rating & Review and Section for Russian Marriage Agencies

Hello Everyone,

I just added a new "Russian Marriage Agency" review and rating section in the "Russian User Reviews" (http://www.russianmeetingplace.com/...ndex.php?cat=70) so that we can receive a more objective review of Russian marriage agencies.

The advantage of opening a new section in the "Reviews" section that rated and reviewed Russian Marriage Agencies, is that each registered member of the forum could only post a review and rating once. (Thus we could receive an average 1 to 5 rating based upon each user's vote.) This might enable everyone to be able to evaluate and compare the agencies more clearly.

Of course, it is also useful to have open discussions about different marriage agencies here.

Please add your reviews of Russian Dating Agencies and let me know what you think,

I encourage everyone who has had personal experience with a marriage agency to please contribute your review and rating of one or more agencies so that those who need advice can benefit and learn from your experience.

For example:

I have used Athena on 3 of my trips. And I plan on using them again this summer. This summer I will rent one of their apartments, but before I only used their agency to arrange meetings. So if I do a review of Athena now I can only evaluate their arranged meetings, but after this summer I can also evaluate renting an apartment from them. So will I be able to edit my review after the summer?

Hi Everyone,

I want to thank everyone who has posted their marriage agency reviews so far....

I think it is very interesting and helpful to evaluate a marriage agency based upon the opinions of several members.

If you would like to order the agencies to find out which one is the highest rated, then click on "most popular" on the reviews page.

I must admit that there are some surprises in one or more of the ratings, but I'm very happy that we and others will have an impartial resource with which to evaluate marriage agencies.

Hi Scott,

I just checked, and yes, you will be able to edit your review at a later time.

When you are logged in and open your review, you will see a sky blue "edit" button at the bottom right hand side of the review.

Just click on that button and make your changes.

I think that one advantage of having the Agency reviews page is that reviewers must be registered members of the discussion forum.

Because of this, you can know and trust who is posting the reviews based upon their messages and discussions in the forum.

I am going to upgrade and improve the software for the new Reviews section, so there might be moments where that section might be unaccessible.

But, I believe that there will be many additional useful features for us in the upgrade...

Hi Everyone,

I was trying to install an upgrade script for the software, but I was receiving errors....

I reinstalled the old software, and it is working at the moment.

Over the next few days, I am going to try to understand why I am receiving the errors, and then I will try to reinstall the new updated software.

But, please feel free to continue posting your reviews...

While you're working on the software, how about making the default number of listings that show some large number?
There would be no penalty in bandwidth to show a number of listings of say, 50, on the first page.

I have finally finished the upgrade of the Review software, so please feel free to to go and check out the changes, and add your reviews....

I had to deal with some difficult bugs in the software, but I believe that they are finally resolved.....

Great idea/service. I've just started exploring the the wholle FSU dating topic and the one thing I have noted is that there is a real lack of objective information out there. Almost all the information that's available is comming from folks who are also trying to sell you something. Not to say the the information is all inaccurate but it does make it questionable kind of like investment information from the broker whose sitting next to the investment banker who is bring the equity to market. So to me information from people who nothing to gain financially is invaluable. Thanks
