The importance of nice teeth!!

Here is a question I have to ask. How important is it to you for your partner or someone you are potentially looking to get involved with to have a nice set of choppers. Also, how important is the freshness of your partners breath?? Or is this irrelevant.

Define 'nice'. If you mean big, white, regular and square (i.e. about as convincingly real as Pamela Anderson's breasts) then it is important that they are NOT 'nice' since I wouldn't be looking for a Californian tourist as a partner

Good point. Actually, I was referring to real teeth, you know the natural kind, which seem to be harder and harder to come across these days.
When I was younger, these capped teeth and so on were not as popular as today. Seems like it's even hard to tell the difference, but too perfect, I agree, is not natural. What I really meant was, well, real teeth, natural.

No fake stuff, please.

I've been blessed by natural, straight teeth, but anyone who would take offense with aesthetically appealing teeth arrived at as a result of dental straightening or other dental work is, in my opinion, too caught up in the trivialities of life.

Well that is an excellant point. I agree . I think we were talking about how important was that nice smile . Understand that thousands, if not millions of people have had braces ,headgears, dental work , etc, trying to retain as much as possible thier original teeth. But the real question is, do nice, natural , orthodontically modified accepted teeth aswell, please more or less. I don't know why I am asking. I geuss to me , it's nice if my partner has nice teeth , I love a great smile, but bad teeth are fine also, not that I am judging.Just curious to know what others have to say about this subject, but that is a really good comment.

How about the fresh breath issue?????

Both fresh breath and esthetically pleasing teeth are important to me.

My wife saw a US survey that indicated good teeth were important to american women. It was important to her as well as many of her friends. Also shoes rank near the top. Chew tobacco is common in the US and I didn't see a single person in the FSU using this. Years of this product has a way of eroding good teeth.

I barely ever see my lady's teeth, even when she smiles ... because most Polish people, unlike Americans, don't smile with their teeth like Katie Couric style Americans.

Now I'm wondering... Where has Andrei been? It's been about 2 months since his last post...

Andre has what is commonly known as "a female"

I tried calling and emailing..... occasionally he replies but he has been occupied.

I may try calling his parents house if i find the number. He called not long ago to say "Hi" and to see how things were.

He had told me about his girlfriend and was very happy but I know she has been keeping him busy

Is this true of Russians as well? In the pictures where Nata's laughing, it's obvious that she has nice teeth, but she rarely shows them when smiling, she only parts her lips a little.

I thought she might just be posing.

My RW has teeth even more yellow than mine, and she uses them in smiles. I think I saw many teetch when people smiled to their friends in Barnaul.

So I guess no showing them is a polish tradition - just like using twice as much makeup as russian women.

Well, you know what, my aunt is a dentist in Chicago and she basically claims that not everyone has to have teeth that are "whiter than white" because "God gave everyone different color teeth". And I think she's right too - this craze for teeth that are white, white, white is a little overexaggerated.

Yes, in Poland (at least among the cultured spheres) it's not considered elegant to open your mouth too much. I myslef have slightly crooked teeth (wearing dentures is not a Poish thing), so I have an incentive not to show the choppers.

Teeth can be fixed in the US quickly, easily, usually painlessly, and relatively inexpensively. I would date a woman even if she had bad teeth. Metal fillings can be replaced with resin. Teeth can be replaced if necessary and present-day technology is so good that it's extremely difficult to differentiate real from imitation.

Bad breath can be a problem, especially if you have to speak to people in close proximity on a regular basis. Brush, floss, and rinse with antiseptic mouthwash after meals, brush off that gunk from the back of your tongue, keep mints and gum handy, and use Mint-Asure.
