Cheap cigarettes from the FSU ?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone here know where I can buy cheap, FSU versions of cigarette brands popular in the US, such as Marlboro and Newports ? I would appreciate any information.

If you mean where in America...Likely, there aren't any cheap cigarettes in America (FSU or otherwise) because of all the taxes cigarettes are subject to in the US (unless you want to go to an Indian reservation). They are really only cheap in the FSU because they are not as heavily taxed (if taxed at all).

Hi

The cigarettes from FSU is also with a lower quality and higher level of tare.

In EU its a big problem with illegal cigarettes from FSU. The police estimate its about 400 million a year, just to my small country of 5 million people.

I had a friend a couple years ago that would purchase thru the net from Saint Petersburg. They were american brands at a much discounted price even with shipping. You are limited on quantity, I believe, so you can't buy a truck load. I do wonder about shipping especially with the FSU postal sytem.

Ok, I know smoking is bad. I am not a smoker even. But, I am looking for a site where I can purchase Russian cigarettes like Yava, Prima, Kosmos etc. I used to have one site but lost the link. Its hard to find a site with Russian cigarettes since there is trade agreement between Russia and USA that says that all commercial importation of cigarettes for resale is forbidden. You can buy them from any other country though.

Of course, I tried google, but I cant find it anywhere, looked through many sites. All I find is coffin nails of American or European brands.

Would be nice to get some Russian cigs for exoticism.

Have you guys tried to order from abovementioned sites? Did you get the cigarettes?
I'm asking 'cause I've ordered from www.cheapest-cigarettes.ws and never got nor cigarettes nor response from these scammers (located in Almaty, Kazakhstan). Now I am looking at http://www.cigarettes-super-price.com/contacts.htm and they also look to be located there, so I hesitate.
So if you tried those sites, please let us know if they work!

Hi people,

has anyone any further stories on gaining cheaper cigarettes yet? is there any websites that are good to buy from? Sorry for all of you that lost money trying to purchase them from the scammers, did anyone manage to get there money back from them?

I used to order them all the time. Standard American brands that tasted just like the ones made here in the US. I ordered from a number of sites and the smokes came stamped from different nations - usually Moldova or Ukraine.
The way they beat US customs was to only send 3 or 4 cartons per envelope. If you ordered ten cartons you'd get them in 3 different envelopes to stay under the legal import limit.

In March or April of this year, customs finally figured out how to beat the system. Working with credit card companies they blacklisted these companies, and as fast they change their name they keep adding them to the list. The CC companies simply won't approve your purchase.

I suspect anyone still in the game is probably a scammer. I'd beware, because the folks who were doing this honorably have all folded up shop.

However... There is an even better way to beat this. Did you know that loose tobacco is hardly taxed at all. And did you know they now have inexpensive machines that make perfect cigarettes? Drop tobacco in a slot, stick a filtered tube on a little port, turn a crank and a perfect cigarette drops off the end. You can make a pack in less than five minutes.
Less than $1 a pack, and the quality of the fresh tobacco (no chemical additives, etc) is far, far better than the stale tasteless stuff you buy over the counter. No chemical additives either!

not to lecture anyone on the evils of smoking, but as a health professional, i see people suffering every day because of smoking. and i don't mean a little suffering either. cigarette smoke is toxic to virtually every system in your body.

i'm talking lung cancer (terrible way to die) as well as a host of other chronic wasting diseases.

there is no such thing as a pack of cheap cigarettes... even if they were free, they're still one of the most expensive things you'll ever do. of course, you'll only be able to assess that once your health bill comes due .
