When do I get contact stamps? I signed up last Wednesday and have none. I paid by Paypal.

I don't get this whole thing. Is it because they're in Houston? I thought they said they activated my account?

I will give you some good advice... from someone who only has a few months into this process... CHILL!!

I am not trying to be rude to you, but almost all of the women will be there in a week, and if they are far along a relationship to drop out in a week, you never had a chance.

And, the ladies sometimes take a few days to answer... it is a slow process learning about someone over the internet. I was like you and wanted to 'jump in' right away and my account was delayed... but I calmed down and am doing fine.

Maybe some others can give you a timeline of how long it takes to get through the whole process, but I am estimmating by my reading that if you want a good relationship it will be minimum of one year.. and it could be two years before you have someone in your house!! Just my 2 cents...

Yeah, Tex is right on. It's very slow and you've got to have or learn patience. I took 4 trips over there and 15 months til I popped the question. After the paperwork is processed it'll be another 2.5 months. Now with the exit visa boondoggle looning it might be another 3 months after the US visa is issued.

I am anxious to get started, but not anxious to get married immediately. I have read Khashyar's plan of how he went about finding a Russian wife...........and believe me, I will not rush into anything.

I plan on exchanging e-mails/letters for quite some time and when the feeling is right, moving on up to phone calls.

I got married fast in my first marriage. I did not take the time to get to know my wife first. It was a big mistake. I am in NO HURRY to get remarried. Although I would like to get remarried some day.

Again, I am very anxious to JUST TALK/EXCHANGE E-MAILS with these women. It would give me something to look forward to and also let me know that possibly I'm on my way in a couple of years to a good relationship/marriage.

I think writing/reading about eachother will help you to get to know the person while removing all the sex/attraction stuff. And I look forward to that.

It's good to know you were delayed in starting too. It's just frustrating because my soon to be ex-wife and my kids went to visit her family out of town over Easter and I had plenty of time on my hands.

Thanks for your feedback. I am trying to remain patient.......it's just in times of boredom that I feel I could be writing some of these women and getting things started.
