I don't know where on google you are looking Mr. datco from Edinburgh or Glasgow .....wherever your village is.....but I have searched several black lists on Tanya, and nothing has come up except for your stupid response on here. I don't know if you know how to read english, but most of the responses on the search are for a theatrical playwrite.....which supposedly you are a stage boy??? I've been to Glasgow, and Edinburgh- nice cities that don't need a little punk like you! Tanya is a nice woman that you would never deserve in all of your Peet smoking life!! I love the Scot's but I don't think that you even deserve to be called a Scot either!! I think that you suffer from rejection and short man syndrome.......You should really consider dating a dog.....they are obedient and loyal and they won't supposedly "scam" you!!
GOOD LUCK LUCY!!

datco, as for the letter to tanya that you wrote her....I honestly think that you do have way too much time on your hands!! Truly, from a Dr.'s point of view, you may need some counseling!!

ok in the interest of truth here only and not taking any sides...

I ran an Internet search on the name "Tanya Fomenko"

The first entry showed Tanya listed on a dating agency site:

Tanya Fomenko Ukraine Dnipropetrovs"k bride pictures and photos in dedicated 2-brides.com project.
http://www.2-brides.com/bride/tanya...7965/pictures/5

The second entry showed Tanya on a blacklist:

russian girls who are scam artists
Passion from Barnaul Passion.JPG. Tanya Fomenko from Dnepropetrovsk Tanya_fomenko.JPG. Tanya Fomenko from Riga? tanya_from_riga.JPG...
comunidades.msn.es/russiangirlswhoarescamartists/dubiousprofiles....

When I tried to go to this website however it was NO LONGER AVAILABLE! So while something did come up, I'm not sure if it was valid or not.

Further down the list of hits, I found the following additional entry:

russian girls who are scam artists
...russian anti-scam agencies (NO SUCH THING) ... Tanya Fomenko from Dnepropetrovsk Tanya_fomenko.JPG. Tanya Fomenko from Riga? ...
http://www.communities.ninemsn.com....artists/dubi...

I tried to look at this link but it is blocked from my work, so I have to wait till I get home to check it.

My conclusion is that her name is in fact associated with scam lists on an Internet search, but how valid these lists are is uncertain. These both appear to be free, msn provided sites, so almost anyone could have listed her on these sites. Neither site is run by a reputable agency to my knowledge.

We did big work on this list and I hope our group was one of a reasons why this suspicious group of paranoics-scam-hunters was closed.

Clarita,
I have to praise you, girls, for all the work you are doing.. Sites like yours were long overdue.

Well done Clarita & friends!
This spread of "poison", has to be stopped.

See what it lead to in this thread!

A lot of upset and anger, because of "revenge".

Just read the following article
http://www.lillavilla.com/eng/index...task=view&id=20

What I came away from this was the realization that I was starting to become paranoid myself perhaps like the men described in this article.

I've met a couple of ladies on the net and been corresponding with them for some time but the more I read about scams the more I wonder about whether I'm a potential victim?

The problem is I have no reason to believe for one second that there is anything wrong. No requests for anything other than my time. No stories about how things are tough or how little money someone has, in fact, no self pity at all. Any references to things being different are in the "just the facts" vein. Basic things like can't answer you every day but no mention of the cost. But still these thoughts enter my mind based on all you read on the net.

Even went to the effort of starting research into the agency itself to find out if it was on the up and up even though the agency has bent over backwards to resolve minor problems AT THEIR EXPENSE which none of the major agencies has even started to address issues let alone solve them.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, Sometimes a good thing can be just that. A good thing. I am not about to let my guard down completely but I won't continue to wear it like armor as I think I have been doing... Placing all RW in the "beware of scammers" column before there is even a hint that they are.

I guess I will jump into the middle of this and give my opinion... this from a guy who has only been looking for a few months in the FSU...

I have written to a LOT of women. Most are nice and either they decide I am not the one for them, or I decide they are not the one for me.. no scam involved, just honest letters..

A number of women will not open up, as they must distrust us AM for some time.. I try to get by this to see the real woman, but usually can not..

I have only been scammed by ONE woman... and it was SO blatant it was funny.. she could not live without me on the second letter...

I did have one lady as if we could meet in another country and I would have to pay, but I would not say she is a scammer... I declined and we are still writing each other, but her English is not great and I do not see a good match.

I have found two or three ladies that I can say are GREAT . They have good jobs, what appears to be a good life, but just are missing a partner. I see no green card scam, not asking for money or anything..

So, from my perspective, I would say only about 1% have been scammers.

>>A number of women will not open up, as they must distrust us AM for some time

Interesting that you bring this up. My experience as well. Which would make it funny if it weren't true.
We worry that we're being scammed, they worry about the same thing.
Increasingly, RW seem to be growing tired of correspondence that is going nowhere. I guess this is even more common than our fear of being scammed. My own view point is that men contacting women with no intention of going anywhere with it are just as guilty as scammers. Perhaps more so as they are playing with hearts and not just cold cash.

As far as the distrust is concerned, it really does make you wonder just what they are going through in regards correspondence with AM?

yeah, I'm the one who has been trying to help this tanya get all of this mess cleaned up about her. Now she is accusing me of not trusting her because I'm trying to reconcile with the sites that have her listed as being a scammer. She thinks that I am investigating it for my own benefit......truthfully I can say that I"m only doing it because I care for her tremendously. Now I don't know what to do, continue to fight for her reputation and clear her name, or just drop it all together and try to reconcile with her that I'm not trying to find out for my own benefit. I know in my heart that she is telling me the truth, so I don't need the evidence, but I still want to clear her name. I'm confused and torn as to what to do. And I am going to generalize.....women have to be very blunt with men......they tell us something, we do it, but then come to find out that what they told us to do isn't really what they wanted.

Many RW seem to not trust men. They are very distrustful.

I have had a similar experience with my fiance.

In part, I understand her thoughts. I wasn't looking for a RW but happened upon her. I told her about my divorce and it was slow, so it may have seemed to her that I wasn't serious.

Additionally, a friend of hers was reading THIS forum and her reported to her some very disturbing (and not true) things.

She reposted her profiles, made me remove ALL photos of her from the photo gallery and believed what she was told.

I was quite devistated by these events (and some other things). I thought she was looking for a reason to dump me and I even thought that I was being used.

I won't go into detail but it turned out that it was just some (serious) misunderstandings.

I have had a lot of thinking to do..... She had been told that the photos I posted of her made her look "drunk", I described her mother as an "alcoholic" and that "I thought I was the master of the women".

I was HIGHLY (to say the least) UPSET with this "friend" of hers.........

That is all i'll say for now or i'll start thinking about all of that again and become quite angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, but it is costing them money.. one of the ladies is paying for the translations, one has minimal English skills and I do not know what she is doing.. a third that I just started with is poor and can not afford to send emails... I am getting in contact with her agency to see how much it will cost me to provide this to her... I do not consider this a scam, but who knows.

For me, I want them to have some financial cost as I will have a lot when I go visit.. to me is shows that they are truely interested in you

I think I can cast some light on the Tanya Fomenko issue. I read that post on the MSN russiangirlswhoarescamartists board before it was disabled because I was interested in her. She was listed under the "Dubious Profiles" section. This section was used to highlight discrepancies in profiles and was not meant to list scammers. The reason she was listed there was because two profiles on different sites listed two different home towns, Riga and Dnepropetrovsk if I remember correctly. The implication was that one of them was invalid and that one site was happily selling her old contact info. The guy who posted the details stated that the girl was real and also listed her email address. Because I was interested at that stage I did a scam search and I could not find anything. I remember her stating in her profiles that she's interested in men in her own age bracket. That's refreshingly honest and does not sound like a scammer.
