Hi again,

Can anyone tell me exactly what documents I need to apply for a tourist visa to Russia? I am a UK citizen. I booked my flight through opodo and my girlfriend is handling all the other things for me however I have heard that invitiations are required so does she need to send me one?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Look up the website for the Russian Embassy in the UK. They'll have the info you need there.

elvis, you canget tourist voucher instead of invitation. When you book hotel then this hotel can give you this voucher.
Or you can hire some firm andthey'll make you this voucher. As I know different firms charge 20-30usd for such tourist voucher.
You canuse fax copy of voucher for russian consulate. As I know you'll also need passport and nothing else. You can make visa in such way during a week.
