Hi everyone I am new here and wish everyone all the very best in their quest in finding their perfect partner.

What I would like to ask is this, I have been talking to a girl from Kuznecovo and everything was going superbly well until she sent me her address and I was going to send her flowers when I found that her address is blacklisted on a couple of florists websites with a different name. I then got curious and found her profile on a couple of free dating sites with an old photo of her but these sites want paying to send her a message.

I guess what I am trying to ask is is this a scam or is it possible someone has been using her photos and info for a scam ? The photos I have of her are very different to the one used and are more recent and also rather than being professional photos like I have seen on the scam sites are of her at home apart from a couple taken on holiday. I have also checked all the scam sites under her name and there is no listing of her pics, email address. She rarely sends me photos and has never asked me for anything except that if she can call me tomorrow as she has not got a home phone and in general keeps asking for more and more pics of me and talks about her daily life in her emails.

I would be grateful if anyone can advise where to go from here as I would like some hard facts before I ask her about it.

I wouldn't so quickly jump to the conclusion she is a scammer.....

It has happened to many women where thier photos were used.

The only questionable part at the moment is her address being black listed.

I would continue to write but don't become too attached just yet.

Maybe later if something isn't right then you may have a good reason.

For now it is just talk and as the saying goes "Talk is cheap!".... it isn't until or unless something else developes (or a request is made) that I would become suspicious, etc...

I've noticed, there are a lot of men on free dating sites who are using pictures of famous sportsmen, actors... or models, or their gardeners. They don't show their real faces and when his girl asks him to send his pictures more, he stops replying. This fenomena is easy to explain - these men are liars and stealths. They steal girls' time, her attention, because their wife/girl in reallity are very busy with their career... or something else and they cannot pay a proper attention to his husband.

Free dating sites are good places for such men. They don't send any flowers to their 'e-mail -girls' or grant them any gifts, or invite them to restaurants... No. They are very experienced in sucking girls' attention via the internet and making their computers virused.

loulou, May i point out that there are many genuine guys out there such as myself who genuinely wish to meet their soulmate and have no desire to waste anyones time. May i also point out that we met through a site here in the UK which is free to post profiles but you have to pay to receive your messages.

I think loulou understands but she (I assume loulou is a woman) is trying to point out that there is a lot of fraud on the internet....

and just because someone uses another persons photo does not mean that that person (the one in the photo) is the one comitting the fraud.

As i've said there are many cases where a woman's photo was used without her permission.

I have had some difficulty getting my fiance's photo removed from some sites.

Well guys she just called me and we spoke for about 5 minutes, I was left speechless and she was very interested in me, my life and my family and we chatted about what she had been doing and her plans for the rest of the day. Her spoken English is very good. I didnt however mention any of this to her though as like I said in my first post I want some hard evidence either way as I am trying to act in both of our best interests. I certainly do not want to worry her without good reason at this moment in time although I will be extra careful for a while.

Well i guess i got my answer, after we talked on the phone I quickly got an email from her claiming she was at work after only telling me on the phone she didnt work weekends. I also tracked her Ip to yoshkar ola and not kuznekovo kirov as she had always told me. Also I spoke with the florist who blacklisted her and the address is fake. I have added the text from her email and is totally out of character in both the way she talks and her grammar.

searcher, you are right. there are a lot of gamblers who like play with girls' pictures.

for instance: once I registered on russian dating site and placed one of my pictures there. the site was free of charge. then in three months they anounced that three months were over and if I want I could prolong my profile of if I don't want to prolong, they will cancel it. I kept silence and thought that my profile was canceled.

...And I was surprised greatly when in one month I was wondering on the internet and stambled upon 'my profile' with my picture on that site. Like somebody laughed at me. I tried to cancel my profile - but computer said to me" the wrong password" etc. Very fanny text about me, very funny advertising! Some places I was laughing myself reading it. Like a great teacher with a great pedagical experience was teaching how to write profiles correctly. As I know teachers should love children. No. that teacher hated me

) Why ? I don't know. But I know that there are a lot of men who can mock me or my pics.

Please excuse my very blunt reply to you, I also know that peoples pics and identities can be stolen which is why I posted my post the way I did. I asked for advice on a totally alien situation for me as I believed her to be genuine. only in the last half hour have I found that not to be the case

I wish it was that simple m8 lol but she will find herself the interest of the authorities and her new found fame all over the web and she lists that as her main hobby

Dear Andrew, there are a lot of nice Russian girls on this site, and I don't understand why you are spending your time on the girl, which you can not understand - her emotions, behaviour etc. I think it is of great importance - ability to understand each other. I've heard - love help people to understand each other without words...- probably something wrong and love is absent in your case.
Once you'll meet the girl who won't be wanting to see your pics more

As for me I like tall brunettes with bright shoulders, low voice and who can use foul language promptly and properly, and who will be able to hold me on his back. And if I'm communicating with the man, I will ask him to send me his pics more. and call me as often as possible.

I have spent my time on this girl as like i previously posted the fake address was at that time the only red flag and I was concerned that someone had used her information for scamming purposes as she had always appeared to be very genuine and I was trying to act in both of our best interests as I genuinely liked and cared about her.

I also believe that you can communicate with people without speaking their language and understanding them.

What you say about communication with someone and them calling you, Well that is what I wanted with her and I was prepared to call her whenever it was possible and my point about her wanting more and more pics made me believe that she felt the same as I did.

I really do not know what you are trying to say here and I think that you are misunderstanding my posts.

Well it turned out that yes all she was interested in money for a visa scam and when I told her I was visiting there she sent me a sob story email about her desperately wanting us to be together and why didnt I understand her. well i confronted her with all the information I had and yea you guessed it , I never heard from her again. Her name is Anna Mashkakova, email annechkavs@mail.ru and address 36 sovetskaya kusnekovo kirov. I have her photos if anyone requires them.

Thanks searcher and AK mike for your help on this and I would have posted this sooner but she has done me a favour as I had narrowed my communication to 2 girls whom I both very much liked and she made the choice for me. The other girl and I have became much closer and there is now a very different side to her since I told her she was the only one and we will be meeting in 5 weeks.
