I can't believe the e-mail I got from Marina today,I deserve I guess for letting my heart be so vulnerable,I have worked very hard for everything I have and women seem to want to take it away,I am foolish yes,I admit it,she asked me for $406 to cover the plane ticket,she was telling me she got her visa and was coming her this fall and now she sends me this e-mail saying the agency gave here a plane ticket for $600 to Washington DC,even had the darn flight number and airport codes! It was for 2 weeks from now,I have only known her for a little over a month,how dumb does she think I am,obviously pretty dumb! Again I take the blame too,her sweet words,which you don't hear too often in the US caught my heart's attention. I knew a week ago not to trust her,every day she would e-mail me,talking about her mother's birthday,etc,it just tears me up thinking how a women could be so spiteful to another human beings heart,tell me,how could someone do this to another human being? Is money really that important to Russians?
She even sent me a copy of her Visa,a friend of mine sent me the e-mail address for the US Embassy,I will send it to them later for varification,she is going down,I can promise you that,no other honest man is going to get taken by Marina Smyrnova,even her last name is fake,it's spelled Smirnova,come on! I have pictures I can share with you guys too,she lives in Biysk,Altay,Siberia,Russian Federation,how e-mail address popret.com is on russian-flowers black list,she had the 10 degit numbers for Money Gram and Western Union,I will send you a copy of this e-mail if someone can help,Marina has to be stopped,she sent a copy of the Visa too,it looked real,but geez i've never seen a russian visa,they are impossible for a female who is single to get,gotta go now,e-mail me at joefisher1972@yahoo.com i'm in Va Beach,VA by the way,I just need a friend to talk to now,I know not all Russian women are bad,Lena is a fine example of that,God Bless You,at least someone is happy right now.

sorry this happened to you...you haven't lost a thing; and you've gained valuable wisdom and experience...if you are still interested in meeting a sincere woman, why don't you try the photo personals on this website...there are many fine woman to communicate with and the cost is reasonable...but don't beat yourself up too much

maybe you'll feel better if you go down to Abbey Road on 22nd Street or the Baha Cantina a few blocks over and have a few cold beers and chat up some girls...

Sorry to hear the bad news, Virginiajoe... but at least you found out early and didn't send any money.

There are other women out there who are sincere in their quest for a good man. Just take your time, lick your wounds (but remember the lessons learned) and I think you'll do fine.

Don't let it get you down too much--it's not worth it. There are plenty of wonderful people out there, and the less time you spend dwelling on this bad experience, the more time you'll have to go meet someone great.

She had the guts to send me another e-mail today with 2 pictures of her in a bathing suit,this women is a vodka drinking drunk! She says I cannot live if I am not with you,she also said I want to kiss you,sleep with you,I dream every night of our meeting,this women is insane,not just a scammer but insane,I have to give it to her she is very smart,if I wanted to,she sent me a copy of her visa,I could contact the Moscow Russian Embassy and screw with her bigtime,they probably wouldn't believe me,with this Iran,Russia thing in the media,I don't think they like us too much now! This women has spooked me out beyond,she is that desperate for money,! Thanks Jill for the advice,I will take it! I am looking for a good women! They are out there,patience I guess!

Be glad that you were wise enough not to send any money. The person on the other end of the emails might have been a guy using stolen photos. You just never know. I have said this before in other posts. I was once contacted on Y....o personals by 2 inividuals that followed the standard MO. I felt a little sheepish that I had invested emotion into it, but no money. On the bright side, during the course of researching traveling to the FSU. I found websites with all of these beautiful women. It was an avenue of meeting women that I had no idea existed. So to that extent I am grateful to the individual that attempted to defraud me. Now I have me a beautiful woman and I have made 2 trips to Ukraine. Look on the bright side! I hope this helps.

It is possible,the other guy she was e-mailing talked to her for a minute,then they were disconnected,who knows that could have been a friend of his,but for the western union,she gave me her name and address for her to receive,do these women use their husbands in the scam,Marina Smyrnova was the name she told me to use to send the money via western union or money gram,she said I would get a conformation number,the other guy got the same exact e-mail,this women or whoverver is psycho! But $400 is half a years wage in Russia! Trust me I never had any intentions of sending her money,after I started talking to her,I started researching Russin and all of this on Google,didn't take long to figure out what was going on,and out of respect for all the great,honest Russian women out there,I mean no disrespect,this seems like a elaborate plan,she has the visa which is dual tourist,business,that's impossible right,she e-mailed me the visa,the control number has a few zero's which seems strange,it has the lincoln memorial and it looks legit,maybe she does want to come to the US,who knows,anyways,I lost no money and gained a valuable education about this fascinating country called Russian Federation or FSU.
Now what should me and the other guy do,she should be reported,should we send a e-mail with the visa to the Russian US Embassy,I have their contact e-mail,at least they could verify it and give me some advice,I don't really know. It's just so hard to understand how a human being can seem so sincere and scam someone,but the world is full of crazy people,but there are more good people than bad,thanks for listening friends,it really helps! This probably happens to thousands of guys around the world,,one guy told me his friend got taken for $4,000,it's so crazy,is this some Russian women's hobby,it's actually not illegal for a man to send money to anyone overseas,he can only blame his own lack of education!

I am not sure what sort of ID is needed in Russia to pick up Western Union. It is possible that they just need the MTCN from WU to pick it up. My GF needs ID in Ukraine to pick up money when I send it to her. Long story short, on my last trip my flight was delayed a day and she was not sure she could pick up money in Kiev if I sent it to her. Since the copy of the visa was sent over email it could very well be a forgery. A con artist of any kind no matter where they are from are heartless no matter how you look at it. Just let it go and begin searching the legitimate avenues if this is a path you want to pursue.

You are right,I just want to put her to justice,I don't care about her anymore,I have self respect for myself and there is no place in my loving heart for a sorry excuse for a human being than Marina Smyrnova,she is pure trash,I don't want her to steal any more money from hard working good people like me and you, face it some people are stupid enough to believe the words in Marina's e-mail,I am a very romantic person and in America that is rare,most women like the tough bad boys,not the classy romantic types especially in a beach party town like Va Beach where I live,i'm not saying all people here are party surf people,but it can be tough in the singles scene here in America,I am a good looking thin smart,intelligent handsome guy,but I hate being around drunk,stupid people in clubs,i'm just being honest,thanks for everyone's understanding!

About the only thing you can do is share the information on the black list site. As far as catching and prosecution. I think you have 2 chances slim and none! I Understand what you mean about the American dating scene. So again be thankful you came out with bank account intact and you were pointed in the direction of legitimate women.

lechief thanks for the reply,you are absolutely right,funny I just received a e-mail from a guy in Texas Marina was trying to scam,it's weird she was only on the Russian flowers black list,no others,now she is busted,who would have thought it Biysk,a town of 200,000 in the Altay mountains these freaks would think of doing this to honest people,totally insane! She is a true pimp,hustla I guess!

If it has its own computer then give me the ip and we can make there computer non responsive.. It pays to know people that like to get computer friendly. Just give me its ip and they will not contact you again..
