Hi All,

Wondering if someone can help me. I am trying to make a call to a 10 digit federal mobile phone number from Canada to Russia.

To make a call international I have to dial 011 and I have tried following that by 7 (russia), 8, 7 and 8...and then the 10 digit number. Nothing that I try seems to work.

Any guesses??

Can you mobile make international calls???

I ask because mine can not unless I call the company and ask that it be enabled to make these calls. It is a high price to do so, something like an extra $1 per minute.

where in Russia is she and what phone company does she use?

It costs me about $1.25 a min to call my lass from my mobile to hers, you wouldnt hear me grumble about this as its worth every penny to hear her sometimes.

She is in Saint Petersburg and uses beeline for her mobile service. Well, $1.25 is a lot, but like you I am dying to hear her voice so any advice would greatly be appreciated!

Yay!! It worked this time!

I swear I did this exact thing last week, and she said she didn't change anything, so I am scratching my head as to why it worked this time. Great to finally hear her voice, but it definitely is hard to understand everything (poor connection...her english was fine).
