Viagra Maker Announces Mass Job Cuts
Pfizer (NYSE: PFE - news) , the company that makes Viagra, is to axe up to 1,000 jobs in its plants in Kent and Northumberland.Some 400 jobs will
go at the plant in Sandwich, Kent, over the next few years although the company says it will redeploy staff if it can.It is also selling a plant at Morpeth, Northumberland, which employs 570 workers.

Actually Viagra is made at the Cork plant in Ireland and is more commonally known as "The Pfizer Riser".

Pity about the cut-backs though.
