I am a Nice Boy?

I've started emailing a lady from Kiev, she said I am a 'nice boy', She speaks 'good' english according to her. Is a nice boy good? I am still trying to understand FSU women at all, if an AW said this I think I would be insulted unless she said it in a certain way. Another thing, (depending on her being honest of course ) if she says she is impressed, do you think that she means it?

Just wanting to get more insight.

Thanks

I wouldn't read too much into that. She probably meant what she wrote... that you're a nice guy. Don't worry... just keep writing and see what transpires.

RULE #1:

IF A RW SAYS SHE SPEAKS NICE ENGLISH YOU CAN BET HER ENGLISH IS AWFUL.

IF SHE SAYS SHE KNOWS 'SOME' ENGLISH SHE KNOWS A FEW WORDS.

IF SHE SAYS SHE SPEAKS 'ENGLISH WITH A DICTIONARY' SHE DOESN'T KNOW JACK SCHITTTT!!!!!

That lady just meant that you're a nice GUY. Those girls just don't know exact meanings of English words, they say 'How do you do' for 'Hello', 'clever' for 'smart' and 'gay' for 'happy'. They think that 'going nuts' means 'going in the woods to gather some hazelnuts', that 'getting on' is 'getting on a bus' and that 'giving up' is 'giving something to somebody that stands on a higher ground'. Never take them RW serious))))) Dey not kno whut dey talkin'bout, knowmsayin'??))))))

Hi

there is a homepage (sorry hav'nt here anymore) where many common 'mistakes' are expressed.

Try search russian language, other meaning and so on. I am sure you will find.

If not, ask here, because many of these incorrect use of words are a eoropean issue, not only Russian, so just ask away.
