Well, this is it -- the official 1000th post by ConnerVT!

For the good or the bad of it, the previous 999 posts have made you laugh

or made you cry

, had you angry enough to throw your keyboard

, or have been met with before unheard of indifference

. I promise in the posts that follow I will maintain to set those same (somewhat) lofty goals for myself.

I was the MOST proficient poster, with only our host Khashyar with more things to say. But lately, our wonderful Jill has easily surpassed me in the number of posts she has made. Perhaps she's a bit bored in her new country?

Anyway, thanks to all of you, for RMP would not be possible without you all.

looks like pin boy has thrown the red challenge flag on the field regarding conner's 1,000th post...seems coach pin boy is questioning the legitimacy of the post just for the sake of posting...so now the official will review

and here comes the call from the official...

after reviewing the post, it is ruled that the poster was inflating his stats by posting a post that boasted of his number of posts....therefore, the post will be disallowed and conner's post total will stand at 999 until his next relevant post

so coach pin boy's challenge was successful and conner's post total will be adjusted accordingly

by the way, conner, shouldn't you have been watching the patriots make the colts look silly instaed of posting on the RMP today??

I remember back in the days when I was addicted to politics and the internet (before I met my ex and my present other half ... so those who have problems with internet addiction just need to get out and meet some women

) I was beating everybody in the number of posts on politicus.pl (I met a lot of nice people there, made some connections with nationalists and monarchists in Poland), but that was the past - now I've got several jobs, a female companion and a big historical composition that I hope to develop into a book to work on, so I can' t really compete with Connor or Jim. But alas, we shall see what the future holds ...
