This may be the source of the problem. I think before all this started happening I accidently clicked on the "register in Russian" button - Кликните здесь - in Lena's post (Russian Meeting Place Russian Forums, Russian BBS, Russia Forum, Bulletin Boards (culture, women, travel, etc.) > О России ... "About Russia" (The Russian Language Forums) > Регистрация > Регистрация в русском форуме!).

Of course the system told me I was already registered and I thought that was that. However, possibly the system now is confused about whether I want my info in English or in Russian!
