Amazingly this topic doesn't seem to appear in the FAQ or in the sticky's at the top of this section - somehow my default language has been switched to Russian which means that it is more difficult for me to navigate everything on the site. I would like to switch BACK to English, but unfortunately there's no handy little button like one usually finds that says ENGLISH. How do I switch my default language on this site back to English?

Ok thanks for the PM. Necessary is to go to the RMP home page, not just the forums home page. The language setting is available at www.russianmeetingplace.com, although I don't think it is available on any other pages.

Hi Flashing Eyes...

You must have accidentily changed your language preference in the control panel (cp)...

I will try to log on for you and change it back to English... (or try and change it for you in the forum admin section).

Hi Flashing...

My admin panel said that you were already using the default form language style (whihc is English), but I manually reset it again and I believe that it should show up as English for you again.

If not, just email me or post here, and I can try to log on for you and change it myself.

Ok this is very strange. SOME of the information is in English and SOME is in Russian.

I have gone the main page and I have made sure I have not selected Russian or any other language. On the INDEX page almost all is English, except the "input for girls" link and the "Russian language" link (Вход Для девушек, Русский)

When I go to the FORUMS page, there's quite a bit in Russian:

Then of the Red/Blue buttons near the top of the page: the First and Last 2 buttons are in Russian and the other 3 are in English (Photo Personals, Rus. Photo Galleries, Russian User Reviews the only 3 that are in English).

All of the purple buttons are in Russian except the f.a.q. button

Here is what I see at the top of the Forums:

And this is the strangest of all...when I press the Red/Blue button at the top of the FORUMS page which should take me to the HOME page, I actually go to the Russian language home page, and when I choose "English" from there and then press the "Discussion Forum" button I am back in the Russian-intense page I described to you, and so an endless circle as I try it again and again...
